Has this guy seen their schedule?

Bama, atm, Clemson, Ga, and then the other teams in the east. What is he thinking? They'll be lucky to win 6 with this schedule. If we beat them I think they go 5-7

It’s like the old saying, “keep your mouth shut and let them think you’re stupid or open your mouth and remove all doubt”, something like that.

A few years ago I was in a meeting with my project team and we were interviewing potential bidders on a major contract we were preparing to bid out. After one particular meeting with the representatives of a prospective minority bidder a couple of the senior guys with the client I was working for at the time made some clearly racist remarks. Now this was the 8th project I had done for this client corporation so I had considerably more time in the organization than these other guys.

There were only 4 of us left in the conference room when the remarks were made, the two guys involved, a guy from contracts, and myself. I called them out on their remarks as not being representative of the corporate culture I had long been familiar with. One of those guys asked me what I was trying to say. I didn’t say anything more; I just looked at both of them. Either one of those guys had it within their power to have me discharged although I was well connected in the company and they knew that. The contracts guy had enjoyed a good laugh at their remarks for which he apologized to me later that day. I never witnessed any similar behavior or talk from either of those guys after that.

I can't do much to influence supposedly mature men and women not to trash talk about mostly the 18 and 19 year old kids at our university but as a lifelong fan of our football team and being more a fan/supporter of the players than of the coaches, I still don't think that kind of talk and behavior is right. jmo.
You seem like an intelligent, good man. Great post.

I don’t know why everyone is so high on Missouri. Didn’t they lose basically their entire OL from last season? I’m not ready to anoint Kelly either; I think there are a number of QB’s around the country that could’ve been plugged into that 2017 Clemson offense and would’ve put up similar or better numbers. Best the Tigers could do last year was 8 wins, and I won’t be surprised to see them take a step back offensively.
I am also not sold on Bryant, nor am I sold on Dooley as the OC.

Butcha was his diet coach and monitored his weight regularly. I mean show some dang respect

lol

Brun has UTSports.com on his favorites list...in case he needs to cherry pick for arguments that he’ll completely change halfway through. It’s ok to hate and disrespect him...most do.

lol

Really thought Trey would be taking full reps and readying to go by now. Hopefully just executing the same plan as last year and taking him off his meds only once it's absolutely necessary to prep for game week. Might even delay it a week later with the soft opener. Trey don't need warmups.
What’s confusing to me is the practice observations said he didn’t even hit a pad but in the video he did..idk what these people see

Any recommendations for visiting Folly Beach, Sc or Charleston? Never been and not sure what’s around. Food, entertainment, boardwalks, kayaking etc?
This is always a tough question for me to answer because it depends on your taste and how much you want to spend. Charleston is full of restaurants with good reputations, but you pay for that reputation. To me they're not worth it. That's just me. I would suggest you check places like Yelp, Tripadvisor, etc, to get the opinion of a bunch of people, not just a couple.

But...
if you like bbq, Swig n Swine is excellent with a good reputation. Located in West Ashley, about 10 mins from downtown Charleston. In fact, if you want to combine it with some entertainment, a local company offers a harbor dinner cruise that includes Jazz/Blues music, and is catered by Swig n Swine.

Tons of good seafood places around. Check the Shem Creek area. Maybe 15 mins from downtown in Mt Pleasant. There are also kayaking outfits here, but I know nothing about them.

Perhaps our favorite restaurant around is Bowens Island restaurant. It's about 5 mins from Folly. Good food and It sits on the water. I guess we like it more than others because of the view and we once saw about 6 dolphins swim by while we were eating. And if you want to add kayaking, there's a kayaking outfit that sits right on the property. For both places check their schedules.

I live on James Island and honestly there are no restaurants here that I would say you've got to eat at unless its breakfast. There are a few popular places for breakfast, probably the most popular is Black Magic. There's one Folly too, but I understand this one is better and cheaper.

You ask about a Boardwalk and there isn't one. However. in downtown Charleston there are excellent places to walk around. That's one of the more popular things to do there. (that or a carriage ride/tour which is very informative) There's a place called the Battery, which has a popular place to walk along the water. And a little further up there's Waterfront Park which is another nice area. But if walking is your thing, then "the Thing" for walkers and runners to do here is walk the Ravenel bridge. Check it out online if interested.

Speaking of downtown, that's mainly where I think the overpriced restaurants are.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.
