The truth is JJP might be a bust, he might be a nice contributor, he might end up ALL American. No one knows. But everyone wants to make a prediction and be right. And it's easy to say he sucks and will be a bust. "I said it way back when!", "TOLD YOU GUYS, I'M A GENIUS!".

The sad part is we're grown ass men on here and he's a kid. Oh and he's also a member of our favorite football team. So I'm a big fan of letting it play out a little longer and see how he responds to coaching and development before I trash a kid on the team. Especially a kid that's not even been on campus a year. But that's just me. Others prefer to sit on the couch and trash a kid that's working hard in fall camp.

2019 DL isn’t only bigger, it’s significantly bigger.

Wouldnt sizes in a 3-4 be different than 4-3? Youd have more tackles in the 4-3. And the wde becomes an olb in most ways. Not sure it is apples to apples.

Regardless, cbj intentionally ran leaner. He believed with the spread offenses and DT qbs that we had to be more agile and quicker. Unfortunately if you cant break the LOS and get pushed back 2 yards every play youll never get to anybody.

Maybe a less extreme version with elite s&c could have worked idk. Or just be like clemson and bama and recruit elite talent that have it all. That fixes all the problems and is the only scheme that I fully endorse.

So Sorry to hear this.

I am very sad to report that the damage to my cousin's brain is too severe for him to wake up. We could keep him alive indefinitely if we give him a permanent breathing tube and feeding tube but have decided him to make him comfortable and to let nature take its course. My family is very appreciative of the thoughts, prayers and well wishes that we have received from all of you. Thank you.

May God comfort your family like only he can.
