TN may have been picked 5th in the East overall, but TN did get one 1st place vote. Lol.

I want to buy that media member a beer. Keep up the good fight sir.

Bammer reporter that knows how Pruitt operates imo. The people that know him the best doubt him the least.

Outsiders high on Kentucky meth like M*** H**** doubt him because they have no clue.

To be fair, if he picked us for first, he's already had a few beers. lol

It does seem a little wild with how talented UGA should be, but consider: just 1 bad hit to Fromm and it is wide open. We just have to be prepared and playing our best in case such a scenario happens. Not that I'm wishing ill will on Mr. Fromm or would hope to win only because of that. But things happen and Pruitt will be prepared to take any and all advantages.

Yesterday?

Yesterday I said:
"Silver lining - we've gotten through the "long time to get there". Here comes the good stuff."

on someone feeling confident we get to 8 wins after hearing Pruitt, "You mean 10."

and

on if Pruitt will need excuses, "Won't be need for any. Win 8 or 9 this year, East next year, take it all in 2021. This staff is the real deal. Best in the country."

All aboard the Pruitt train. Choo choo MFers

Haha, I meant this one.

-Chaney should be an improvement over Helton.
-Chaney is not a flight top OC.
- Yes they should ball out.
- Wait and see mode
- Real system? It is basically the same.
- Yes 2nd year in 3-4 should help. But all new DL may negate some...
- Hmm ok, time will tell.
- Time will...ya know
- Yup, stud corners.
- Maybe, unproven to do so.

Fwiw, all your reasonings are all the positives, what about the negatives? Those writers have to consider all aspects. Imo we should improve in most areas, but may see a step back at DL. A lot of unproven areas and will wait to see if S&C is finally worth a flip. Wasn't much better last year. Surely we have to get back to skrong eventually??!

Definitely are some legitimate concerns and "wait and see" is probably the most reasonable approach, but I've seen and read enough since media days to move the rebuild up by at least 1/2 a season, if not a full one, in my mind. S&C, Pruitt's confidence, etc. Pruitt knows a good team when he sees one and it sounds like he sees one. Even 247 had an article today about his "surprising" amount of confidence in our DL. He said we practiced all but 1 day "the right way" during all of Spring practice. These kids are learning to play ball, finally. Hey, I have my own concerns, but I'll take Pruitt's belief all day.

Well... You need the coaches'buy in first.

But yeah. It was nice to hear. But I put it in the "ya gotta start somewhere" category... And it usually starts with the coach..
