To Protect and to Serve II

A friend posted this elsewhere and I thought it was interesting....

If you stand in solidarity with all people who are killed by police, you will undoubtedly stand for evil at some point.

If you stand in solidarity with all police officers who are killed by civilians, you will undoubtedly stand for evil at some point.

If you stand in solidarity with justice regardless of the identity of the suspects and victims, you will never be guilty of standing for evil.

This isn't that profound dude.

If you stand under all showers you'll get wet, at some point.

There is a pretty big gap between wanting to see the bad cops fired and seeing ALL cops get killed.
There have been plenty of posts itt, lumping all cops as corrupt murderers. Dont act like you and @DEFENDTHISHOUSE loved the 5 cops that got executed in Dallas after Obama put a hit out on all Leo's. Same for Diblasio in NYC.
Amazing what these guys put up with...then vilified and stereotyped...

You are struggling bigly. No one in here has stated that all cops are corrupt murderers, no one loved that 5 cops were murdered in cold blood, Obama did not put a hit out on cops. You impressively made zero factual assertions.

Is it ignorance or deception when you try and conflate the criticism of a justice system that allows for corruption and malfeasance amongst LEOs with illogical, personal hatred for every single human being in uniform?

Yeah. Telling America that cops are stupid and racist does wonders. How long after that was the Dallas massacre? Thanks Obama.

Obama didn't pull the trigger.

Why don't you blame the actual criminals?

See, I guess that is what separates people like you from people like me. While I am laser focused on going after the real criminals (civilian or LEO), you would rather go after figureheads and icons.

How many cops do you think are corrupt?
Over 50%.

I say that because I think the type of people that are mostly (not all, but mostly) drawn to that type of profession nowadays suffer from psychopathy. I don't use the term "psychopathy" lightly.

Psychopath vs. Sociopath: What’s the Difference? | HealthyPlace

According to the Society for the Study of Psychopathy, psychopath traits include:

  • Lack of guilt/remorse
  • Lack of empathy
  • Lack of deep emotional attachments
  • Narcissism
  • Superficial charm
  • Dishonesty
  • Manipulativeness
  • Reckless risk-taking
Moreover, approximately 93% of psychopaths are in the criminal justice system.

Now, one could read this as "93% are institutionalized in the criminal justice system" or it could very well mean "93% are institutionalized or employed in the criminal justice system".

That's two dogs that turned on him. He must be a crappy person

Same dog, twice. The dog should have been given to another officer after the first bite. This is an issue that should not happen.

In all my years being around protection and Schutzhund work, I've seen one dog imported from Germany who was aggressive towards his handler, and the handler was an idiot. Dog with anyone else, damn near perfect.

It usually is the handler who is the problem.
