Knox County DA 'looking into' detective's church sermon calling for execution of LGBTQ people

In the hourlong sermon based on an Old Testament passage, Detective Grayson Fritts, also a pastor at All Scripture Baptist Church in Knoxville, told his congregation that he believes that federal, state and county governments should arrest, try, convict and "speedily" execute people within the LGBTQ community on no more grounds than a cell phone photo of a person participating in a Pride event.

Apparently, the suspect was wanted on multiple warrants and MPD was there to assist US marshals with the arrest. After the suspect used a vehicle to ram other cruisers, he exited the vehicle with a weapon therefore leading to this death by lead poisoning.

The public protesters and aggression towards the department is not justified in this case.

Rioters tore up downtown charlotte a while back over a perfectly normal shooting where the guy had a gun. Damaged stores, buildings, cars, many injured and a black man was killed by other black guys in the process.

Month or 2 ago, a white female cop and another cop had a black man open carrying who was licensed to carry on his knees in a burger king parking lot, he was talking to a female in the passenger seat with her door open. Female tells him over and over to "put the gun down!" So he reaches to grab his gone from his hip slowly and she put 2 rounds in him before he ever got it out of the holster...his last words a moment later were "you told me.....death*"....all of which was on video. She pretty much panicked and executed an innocent man. He wasnt ever bothering anyone or causing trouble, somebody from Bking i guess had just called the law because he had a gun on his hip. No protests or riots, nothing. Just doesnt make sense to me. The lady cop had about 18 years service on charlotte PD. After all this goes to court etc she will retire and the city (,taxpayers) will have to pay his family millions in the settlement i am sure.

There was a little more to it than that. First (see story) the police were called because he in fact had been causing trouble.

“The first caller frantically said she needed police quickly because the individual entered the store, walked behind the counter with a gun and was pointing it at an employee,” a police department statement said. “The second caller frantically said she needed police because an individual had approached her vehicle while she was waiting for food in the parking lot of the business and pulled out a gun.”

There also were protests.

FTR I don't think the actual shooting part of the incident was handled well.

Defense attorney David Camic said prosecutors showed "compassion" in dismissing the more serious charge of cannabis trafficking after authorities intercepted the chocolates in 2014.

Also... He plead guilty. So they can shove that compassion BS. If he’d have tried to stand up for himself, they wouldn’t have hesitated to hammer him as hard as they could’ve.

Yeah, we've become a society of whiny wussies.

She should have done things a little different. First, is contact her lawyer and begin documenting, and should have been documenting every interaction between the bullies and her son, and every interaction between her and school administration after each bully interaction. School is not doing it's job, sue them.

Second, the very first day that this kid got bullied, was to teach him how to stand up for himself. Either go to some sort of self defense training center and begin getting the little pup prepared, or, teach him to end the confrontation as quickly and violently as possible with first strike to knees, nuts, or throat.

There is only one way to deal with bullies, and it's to kick the ever lasting crap out of them and teach them a lesson they won't forget, and as a parent, I don't care what any school does after the fact.
