Derrick Walker enters Transfer Portal

Talented kid but light never seemed to come on. Not a good look for Barnes recipe if you ask me. This should be the time in his tenure that Barnes is reloading not rebuilding. Those clamoring that 3 stars are good enough are missing the obvious issues with the roster if Grant and Bone leave. Other than Turner and Bowden, who is ready to play 30 minutes a game on this roster?

Josiah James?

No coach hits on 100% of kids, whether that is Barnes, Coach K, Chris Beard or even Underwood, they all miss on some guys.

Almost every program in the country loses guys to transfer at some point. This is in no way an indictment of Barnes recipe. Come on, man.

Roust is a malcontent masquerading as a “keepin it real” kinda guy, who loves to voice his own opinion of disagreement only to complain when people call him on his own BS.

He is the more angry of the twins....Catbone is less aggressive.

I've found a ton of "keeping it real" guys are like that; especially on this site.

Plus I love how they immediately turn victim whining about people attacking their opinion (and stress they are voicing their opinion), not realizing they are doing the very thing they are accusing others of: yelling at people for having an opinion about their opinion.

I’ve found a ton of circle jerk, sunshine pumping Nazis who think Its their duty to police anyone who doesn’t drink Barnes bath water. They also love getting likes from Chris.

How embarrassing to think that the facade of "keeping it real" actually hides you reality from others. Psssst......you aren't fooling anybody.

You’ve set it up on a tee for yourself.
No, you have about five or Six people who think it’s their duty to harass people that make a comment on Barnes or a player they don’t like. I only respond when someone pulls that crap with me.

And that's your problem. You've somehow convinced yourself that everyone else (those 5 or 6 people) are 100% the problem, while failing to realize that you are as crotchety and disagreeable as anybody. You don't like like the back and forth of a passive debate anymore than you do the heated, aggressive disagreement. You just don't like to be disagreed with, period. And then you want to be the victim of 5 or 6 people. The ignore button is your friend if you can't handle it. I know you know how to use it.

Maybe getting smaller? We lost to Auburn twice and any Injuries to bone and Tae and the season would have been much different. I think we have to get smaller/more athletic

Barnes seems to disagree based on his recruiting. He just signed a class of guys who are 6-5, 6-6, 6-8, 6-9, and 7-0. He has a commitment from 6-7 Corey Walker, and is pursuing 6-4 Jaden Springer, and 6-5 Keon Johnson.

If anything, it seems as if the recruiting profile is gravitating towards taller, athletic kids with positional versatility.
