the thing i can't figure out, on the UCLA side of things is they apparently got far enough along with Jamie Dixon that the buyout wound up being someting they coudln't overcome.IDT he was straight-up bluffing. I think he wanted some things, asked for more than he's willing to accept and will walk if he doesn't get what's most important to him. We'll see where he draws the line. Not sure UT has much more movement on $$$. And Boyd likes to get something when he gives something, so it'll be interesting to see what they can work out-- if they can.
Creepshow is already roaming the sidelines at bamaWith lifetime contracts before too long we're going to see coaches roaming the sidelines looking like this.

That smells like it was something else but this is what we re gonna chalk it up to publically.the thing i can't figure out, on the UCLA side of things is they apparently got far enough along with Jamie Dixon that the buyout wound up being someting they coudln't overcome.
but now money, resources etcc...are not an issue at all, and UCLA has access to whatever they need to get Barnes....

Yeah, David Ubben wrote about it in the Athletic. If I'm not mistaken he's in seminary training to be a pastor. Pruitt's first son from a previous relationship.
If you can make it there you can make it anywhere. I've know people to move to bigger cities and not be able to cut it, and move back home to where they are comfortable. Would you rather be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond. You couldn't pay me to live in that State. The taxs woooooo! Got a friend who lives there trying to get out of Cal.
yeah...that's the feeling i'm getting lol. That smells like it was something else but this is what we re gonna chalk it up to publically.
For sure. I’m sure the UCLA offer is legit - I’m just wondering how much Rick is interested in it.IDT he was straight-up bluffing.
