Fulmer did meet with Boyd, and UT isn't prepared to match UCLA's offer. UT presented a better offer that's closer on $$$ and has a few other things that Barnes wants. If it's all about money, I don't see why Barnes wouldn't have walked away by now.

To add, if it was all about coaching a prestigious, blue blood, historic program and not $ he should have said I ll take 6 a season and be on the next flight to LA.

IDT he was straight-up bluffing. I think he wanted some things, asked for more than he's willing to accept and will walk if he doesn't get what's most important to him. We'll see where he draws the line. Not sure UT has much more movement on $$$. And Boyd likes to get something when he gives something, so it'll be interesting to see what they can work out-- if they can.
