This is so counterintuitive. How could it be the case that making guns harder to get could decrease mass shootings? I mean, come on. We all know we're safer with more guns floating around. The logic of this is just so hard to grasp.
Here’s an argument. We don’t need to argue your point. You need to amend the constitution to get what you want. Here’s another takeaway from the data. You need 3/4 of the state’s to agree on and constitutional ammendment. Looking at the figure below from the BMJ article where do you think the thoughts of those 3/4ths of state’s needed lie on permissive gun ownership? Go run along now and work on changing the constitution and get back with us. Kthxbai!Show me one argument he made as opposed to bald assertions. Don't think you guys understand how argumentation works.

What is interesting here is that the 'thug' that would be breaking into your home to take your weapons would be the government. Interesting that liberals are A-OK with that.
Actually everyone knows the impossibility of that task, except for the "they're going to come and take your guns" group of misguided simpletons. What is interesting here is that the 'thug' that would be breaking into your home to take your weapons would be the government. During a public hearing that lasted more than eight hours, the judiciary committee considered seven gun-related bills with lawmakers divided between those seeking “common sense” gun laws and those strongly defending the Second Amendment. In the middle of the emotional hearing, a woman who had threatened in a text message to “blow away” a Republican lawmaker and opponent of stricter gun laws was escorted from the Capitol building.
