What was really crazy... i said before the year that our roster was actually better suited for a 3-4 than it was a 4-3 which is absolutely ridiculous if you think about it but...

Alexis Johnson, Phillips, Kongbo, and Taylor probably all had their best years in new positions lol.

Getting coached by Tracy Rocker instead of BRADY HOKE probably helped too.

I am the originator of "Meh-lan" and I've literally always said he would be a problem for us at Florida. I still don't want him at UT, but I sure as hell thought he was a better hire than a lot of other names brought up during the search, and I said so. He is a good coach...but...

I think A&M are idiots for that freak contract, but they got gigantic balls of steel for doing it. I don't know yet whether to admire them or insult them..

Nfl teams are hiring guys who have proven to be failures at multiple stops. Hue jackson went 1-31 for gods sake. His own players were comparing him to Michael Scott lol. At least you don’t know that Mullen is a failure.

So Hue is being hired now? NFL has to interview minorities so he checks that box.. don't think he is being hired

Then no coach ever has been worth a **** by your standards.

Whut?...I said last night he was unquestionably the greatest coach ever when you take everything into account. I just don't believe he is some great innovator or genius tactician. He is still the greatest ever because recruiting, development and program management are also huge parts of the job, and due to nobody else even in the same continent as him in those areas. Sorry if I did not keep on saying that in every post, so you could understand the full context of what I think of him.

So Pruitt needs time to get his players before he can be judged... but Kelly doesn't? I'm not sure either one of them will meet lofty expectations, but they both are rebooting.

Who in the hell had lofty expectations for Pruitt? I sure didn't.

the only reason people think I have a weird obsession like you stated here, is because people on here will defend Mullen's honor to their dying breath while crapping on everything about the UT program. But sure, it's me that has the "weird" obsession. Mullen is a good coach. Not great.

Don't know which Mullen will end up as as in the end, good or great. But I know where he stands as a recruiter, mediocre at best.

And that's the kind of thing that seriously limits your ceiling in less talent rich states like Tennessee, no matter what anyone here says.
