Norm Chow endorses Sark for OC

Back in ‘98 if you asked John Madden about your offensive problems he would’ve told you to pick the Cowboys and give the ball to #22 on the HB sweep and get out of the way.

So you are saying Madden would say, let the team with one of the best OLs in NFL history do its thing? Interesting.

We don't need Sarkesiam. Doug Matthews said last week that we already have our OC but will publicly name him soon
So it is already a done deal and we have our OC
I believe it is Friend

None of us have any idea how he is doing in terms of sobriety. We don’t know if he’s having off-field issues or not. It’s obviously important in terms of vetting him for a job, but there are some ugly and uncalled-for posts flying around.

Frankly, I have no idea how anyone could evaluate someone in relatively early recovery.

Not showing up to work and formal functions while inebriated is as good start in demonstrating one's dedication to sobriety. His problems at Washington and USC are documented and whether he had relapses in Tuscaloosa and Atlanta, I am unaware. If he is indeed hired as our OC, I hope that he comes here and redeems himself and restores us to the feared offensive machine that we once were.

Sark is a bad choice. Historically does less with more. If he’s hired here then it’s just because Pruitt is comfortable with him. Essentially would seal the deal that Pruitt will fail here.

It’s too bad though. With an effective OC I think Pruitt could thrive.

Wonderful, thank you for the unsolicited opinion w/o answering the question. ffs
Wasn't meant to be an answer to your question as much as your opinion that he is the best "left". He isn't. I threw out Courtney Messingham and got absolutely castigated for it. He's 10X better than drunk ass Sark. Osevet would be way better than that guy. You are supporting a guy that lost a NC with a team that should have beaten Clemson........Kiffin would have. USC fired him for "influencing" (read paying) officials and showing up drunk to practice. My answer to your question since you obviously can't read between the lines, is ANYONE.

So he had Nussmeire for 3 years at Washington but I guess Sark called at the plays. Dont buy it. Its not interpretive argument. Its just a statement. Scott is irrelevant. Think someone like Cheney. Thats a true college OC. A guy who has not been questioned about his history or play calling attributes. Again I ask, what makes Sark so desirable? Because he worked under Saban? Or Carrol?
Well, they don't call him Seven Win Steve for nothing.

Minor detail! Just because the Falcons went from Super Bowl to super-dismal in a cliff-falling second once he took over the offense doesn't mean we shouldn't hire him. Why would we want someone who's good at the job and will lead to points on the scoreboard?
It would be out of character.

What gives you confidence in Sark? Where he squandered the talent at Alabama to lose to Clemson in the Natty, or where he squandered the talent with the Falcons to go from 33 ppg to 22 ppg? Falcons are looking forward to a high draft pick thanks to Sark so there’s that.

Maybe he can overcome that with all the talent at UT. LMFAO.

Don't want a coach in recovery....period. Don't you think we have enough issues already?

For us Titan fans, Norm Chow is a very, bad reference.

If I was Cutty Sark, I would tweet, "I have never met Norm Chow."

There was nothing wrong with Norm Chow's offense, and everything wrong with what he had to work with... Get ****ing real... Dude came in year 2 of the salary cap purge, then got to work with Vince Young for 2 years... Get real dude...
