This OC search can’t be good for recruiting!?

Looks like the nega-vols are out in full force this morning.

You know the old saying:
"Early to Bed, Early to Rise, makes a man a Totally Negative Doucher!!"

He can’t even bring in an OC...

With Freeze likely out of the way now and on his way to coach Liberty, maybe we can get back to the real OC search. I don’t think Pruitt is going to have a hard time getting a seasoned OC. Fulmer likely didn’t want Freeze because of his baggage. Though I’m excited to find out who the next OC is going to be, I’m not stressing about it because Fulmer is the AD and for anyone that knows about UT football, him being the AD says 2 things to the college football world.
1. UT wants to reach the top again.
2. Stability.

You can agree or disagree because this is MY opinion. Regardless, it’s great entertainment reading the comments from many stressing because Freeze isn’t on staff and as a result UT isn’t committed to winning, yada yada yada. Yes, he would bring instant name familiararity and football cred but would he be a great fit on the staff? I don’t know the answer but there are plenty of other OC’s around the country that would blend well with the current staff so I’m just going to sit back and see what happens.

So dumb. I mean, unless you know in detail what no one else seems to.

Exactly. Personally, I'm pleased Freeze won't be wearing orange. Other than being the "flavor of the month" for some fans who really know very little about him other than that he recorded a couple of wins over Bama, he is little more than a moderately effective coach with a great deal of baggage. Liberty will love his appearance and he gets to be a HC at a non-factor school. Perfect all around from my view. Now I'm looking forward to the announcement of UT's next OC. Go Vols!

If I said "Pruitt is gettin it done, he's got the big one on the hook", people would ask me how I know.

"But but but..."

Trust me he is struggling

1) I truly doubt it.
2) No personal offense intended, but if this board teaches anything, it is there is no need to trust any anonymous insider claiming to have "special" knowledge--good or bad.

I think UT's staff is very solid and I expect a solid addition when the OC is announced. It may not be a fancy name, but I would put my bet on it being a good coach.

Unless we lose. Then all we hear is that there isn't any talent here. Because Lord knows we don't have that F you South Carolina, Kentucky, Vandy, and Mizzou talent.
