Pruitt no show on the Jeremy Pruitt Show

I am starting to not like Pruitt's attitude about his show.

His recalcitrant, zombie-like non-presence is getting old. It's disrespectful to his host, the organization, and fans.

Yeah, I get it. He doesn't like doing it. He doesn't like Kessler Kessling. He'd rather be watching film or scheming.

Well, tough s**t. It's part of the job. He got paid more this year than most fans make in a lifetime to do the job.

He has set high standards and expectations for his players to execute at a certain level. He needs to man up and do the same.

I don’t like Bob! Can we get a new one?

Honestly after the 50 point beating we got from Mizz, I'd be pissed and wouldn't have much to say. Here we go....oh yeah we got our arse handed to us Bob..thanks for pointing it out. He probably would rather go look at film and study to see what we can do to improve. Talking show is a waste of time. We need to get out and recruit, watch film instead of blah blah blah talking Bob.

I've regularly watched the shows by Shug Jordan, Bear Bryant, Majors, Fulmer, Kiffin. Majors was the best followed by the Bear. The Bear was unintentionally hilarious. He often didn't know the names of his players. Shug was pretty boring. Kiffin not so good. Looked down and away from the camera. Seeming like the kinda guy that couldn't look someone in the eye. Saw a few of Dooleys. Pretty entertaining. Never saw Butch.

I couldn’t care less about his lack of expression or personality on a show. What matters is his effectiveness on the football program and his ability to recruit and rebuild.

So are you saying there are zero good reasons that he would miss the show?

I could think of plenty off the top of my head and I could start by saying he was off recruiting some new OL. Likewise, it could be something more serious like an illness in his family or something of that nature.

Why jump to conclusions is what I'm really getting at.

A whole lot more of his salary comes from this show than comes from the University, and it's not close. At some point he is going to have to embrace it.

Yeah, $3.5 million in "supplemental" pay, which includes the show and other promotional stuff.

You remind me of the guy who complains about his wife’s attitude during sex even though she’s exhausted from chasing kids every day, cleans the house, packs his lunch, and cooks his dinner.

Moral of the story, if you're a guy don't ever get married.

Got no problem with it, cant get it on my local TV anyway so I never watch it. Only thing that matters to me is his game plan on Saturdays other than that just dont beat anybody and get into any recruiting violations and we good.

Seriously of all the things to be upset about, you are made about his demeanor on a Coach's show?

Channel 9 in Chattanooga had it on at 4:00 P.M. yesterday.

i haven't watched the coach's show since 2005 or so..... I don't care how he acts.... at least we don't have to hear a bunch of crazy ass coach speak slogans anymore

What can we honestly learn on a Sunday that we didn't watch with our own eyes on a Saturday?

exactly right. every game is televised so there is no reason to continue this show, IMO.
The advertisers are probably the only thing keeping it afloat.
