It's all about perspective and what lens you are looking through. I started watching when Cobb and Webb were running wild. In my world we are about 50/50 with Bama, we usually beat UGA and we suck v the Gators. I hate Florida above all else. Because of my perspective. I'm born and raised in PA in the 80s and 90s. I knew nothing of the Bama/UT history. I only knew what was in front of me. Which is exactly where a lot of you are coming from. My favorite team is in a rough patch. Your favorite team has always sucked. A 60 year old Vol fan has plenty of incredible memories. But regardless of your perspectives...it IS most certainly a rivalry.

The stat was thrown out earlier: since 1970, Bama is 33-15 against us. That's 48 yrs. Of those 48 yrs, 24 of them, either Bear Bryant or Nick Saban was at the helm for Bama...2 of the 5 greatest college football coaches of all time. Of the 33 wins in that timeframe, 23 of them were achieved by those two combined.

Also, worth note, 4 more of those 33 wins, came with ANOTHER HOF coach at their helm, Gene Stallings. Fulmer was able to send him on his way, as he lost 2 in a row to us before he retired.

Not sure what other proof you need. What failed in our case was development and strength and conditioning.

If you are starting RS Jr's like we should be then this is absolutely valid. Unfortunately now we need guys with SEC size and strength coming out of HS which is rare anyway. Most guys in an average HS S&C program are not going to be a good 300lbs. You got the hog mollies that might but have no conditioning to play a full game and then you got guys that look more like SEC tight ends with frames that can handle more weight but aren't really ready.

He had a guy and they were not downfield. Could see it cause we were on the 45 and I was on the 30 and could see the whole field and the whole S section saw it and grown. Just saying.

Lol. Never seen this before. LaneK had 2 players with same number on the field for a 4th down and it gave la tech a first down after a punt

I ****ing hate Bama. From a small town in west TN and lots of bama fans. I almost got fired from a job when we was having a saftey meeting and somebody said something about my Vol hat. I said well who yall fir. They All said bama. I called them,including my boss traitors, the last time I looked around we was born and raised in TN if you like them so much go move down there.

Hate that players can have the same number. Not sure when they started allowing that, but I am pretty sure it has been in the last 10 years or so. Still, really dumb mistake by Lane
