Eye test says JG gets crushed more than any QB not named Peterman than I have ever seen. I don't need stat on small sample sizes to tell me he could be doing something better to keep that from happening. Even be a second faster in his drop and release will keep some of these hits from happening because they would be penalties.

Eye test also says Chryst sees it coming and gets ball out. And run game appears to be more consistent. Again small sample size so not fair to judge.

I can only judge that JG takes more hits that anyone I've ever seen minus Peterman. And we are not the only team in America with a bad OL

You take more hits if you keep your eyes downfield. He could feel pressure better for sure but if he’s watching the rush then he won’t be as accurate. If you see a blitz and have the numbers to handle it, then you expect the OL to do their jobs. When they whiff you get killed. See it happen to Matt Ryan. Anyone else going to say he’s not a good QB?

Those stats are meaningless. I can set back there for 8 seconds, and then a rusher is in my face and hits me when i throw...thus attributing to a QB hurry and a hit.

Everyone saw against bama that chryst has a quicker release and internal clock. Threw it away quickly a few times etc. I’ve said it since fall camp opened and now some finally seen it/admit it.

Whether you choose to is on you.

I saw him throw one away cause flat was covered and he had six if he had held onto it and went downfield. No read progression at all. I like him as a backup but some worry too much about just getting rid of the ball. He gets it away quickly but heard y’all complain about going thru progressions and having mind made up. See a lot of that in KC. Bottom line is at times both these guys perform but they make mistakes too and it comes from not having a ton of trust in the OL.

The one where he was running for his life? Yeah stupid decision🙄

Nope. Bubble screen and Bama smelled it out and covered it and ball was thrown out of bounds over everyone’s head in about 1.5 seconds. No pressure but you are acting like an azz.

Don't want in the middle of this, just a note. O-linemen release to block downfield on all screens including bubbles. The decision has to be quick or there is a penalty. Carry on.

Danny Wuerffel took more hits than both combined when he played for a UF team that had no OL.

I am pretty surprised that it looks like Tatum is going to get the nod tomorrow night
Idk what the deal with that dude is from a strength and conditioning standpoint. He looked like a tight end when he got here, he looks like a tight end now. He gets out there and just gets tossed around.
