It's absurd that some of those games were scheduled.

I'm all about making the schedule is easy as possible. Give me four non conference cream puffs, and get rid of the Alabama game every year. I'm a traditionalist through and through, but we're at a disadvantage playing them every year compared to the other schools in the east.

I don't understand why we don't have JG doing some designed runs. He is more capable we just don't use it. He had a good one against AU for first down. Roll him out for passes more too.

Because he's 100% a pocket passer. He saw 15 yards of empty space and ran.

Folks have got to quit thinking that just because we are clearly improving every week and played an exceptional game last week, that all of a sudden this will be a close or tight game this weekend... Just get through this without any injuries and try to run the table the remainder of the season. Four and Five star WR's will be lining up across our true freshman and a very thin D overall for four quarters... They will hang 40-50 on us, depending on Saban's mood with Pruitt, but we need to just stay focused on the big picture and learn from this. LA Vol is spot on-- after this weekend if we are still healthy, all the other teams on our schedule should be dogfights...

I have zero expectations but I am going to support my coach. He is most certainly not going into the game hoping we don't get embarrassed. He's not going to tell the players let's take it easy and just get out of here alive. He is going to coach to win and will have the team thinking they have a shot. Whenever you start playing scared is when you start getting hurt.

For me I started seeing the improvement in the UG game and that was after the UF fiasco. I saw a team in the UG game that fought hard after being so embarrassed at home and started seeing the coaching taking effect. Then the AU game sold me. The D has really impressed me this season. I think we got a great staff.

And I'll add, we have to expect this to be a blowout. So, while it's happening Saturday can we please not do our usual meltdown acting like it's not supposed to happen. If it turns out better than expected we can be pleased.

To be honest, as loath as people might be to acknowledge it, the whole story of Butch Jones's time here may have turned out completely differently if our defense had held together in 2016. He'd be coaching here this year for sure.

One thing I also liked seeing after the game was a coach who looked like he'd been there before. He wasn't jumping up and down, pumping his fist profusely, crying, etc. In other words, doing what Jones would have probably done. When the girl interviewed him after the game he said something to the gist of "good win for our players, would have liked to have saw us finish better." Nice change.

Soooo much talent wasted.

His post game presser did it for me. For a guy that shows zero emotion to get choked up like that shows me he and the players have bought in 100%. Just a matter of time.
