Lock looks about the same to me. His stats (really all Mizzou’s offensive stats) were boosted against horrible teams last year. Odom is a puss and runs up the score on bad teams. Dooley is better than Heupel scheme change or not. They’ve been able to score on good/mediocre teams consistently this year lol
Auburn win gets even more impressive the more I think about it. Hadn't won an SEC game since Nov. 19 2016 and we just rolled into Auburn and dominated them. Despite giving up an early lead and having no success on offense outside of third downs.
You want the guy who brought us our first back to back losing seasons in over 100 years and had 3 over the guy who had 2 in 5 years and two 9-4 seasons? You want the guy that was in charge of 4 of the 6 worst losses in UT history and the worst season in UT history?
Butch is so lucky he got Dobbs. He would have been fired middle of 2015 without him
And Dooley SHOULD have been fired after his second season WITH Bray...meant little. No success you can point to in those three seasons. All losing seasons and one bowl loss... VS three winning seasons (two 9 win teams) and three for three in bowl wins. Numbers don’t support ya! Both were eventual failures but Butch lost a lot less. Add to that he snapped losing streaks to SC, UGA and most importantly FL. Minor miracle that we lost by 5 to Bama after having a late lead. Biggest wins for Dooley? Cincy and NC State. You want the guy that was in charge of 4 of the 6 worst losses in UT history and the worst season in UT history?

His X’s and O’s were awful and that’s a total understatement. I knew someone within the program while butch was the head coach and they said that when game down to the game plan, X’s and O’s, film.. that it was totally over his head it was like he couldn’t even comprehend itButch seemed to know how to run a program and field a discipline team, however his insecurity, lack of X & O's and lack of player development were his downfall.
Dooley knew X & O's, however his ego, arrogance and lack of recruiting skills were his downfall. He was always better suited for an AD role or a coordinator.
Pruitt seems to have both, X&O's and he knows how to run a program at this point.

Bray got hurt that year. That derailed the seasonAnd Dooley SHOULD have been fired after his second season WITH Bray...meant little. No success you can point to in those three seasons. That’s what I’m referring to. Strictly talking about the on the field product. Butch didn’t build depth, scheme well, or show any leadership skills. Wasn’t even a good manager. Had a couple good recruiting classes and that kept him here longer than he should’ve been. Give Dooley those players and he might make it to ATLDon't know if he's the worst but he may very well know the least about X's and O's of any coach whose ever cast a shadow on our sideline.
