Kavanaugh Confirmation

Why are you afraid of a week or two delay to allow time for further investigation? Unless you"re arguing for partisan purposes and you're afraid that the investigation won't give you confirmation. Which is easier, impeaching later or delaying the confirmation for two weeks now?
Why is it needed? Feinstein had 45 days to investigate, what is 1 more week going to accomplish other than hope they can pay someone else to come out

I'm not arguing for partisan purposes. I just recognize the partisan hijinks. The President nominated a justice. If there are votes, confirm. But the Ds want to do anything they can, whether ethical or not, to delay it in hopes that Trump doesn't get his pick. They want payback for Obama and political hijinks to protect their SC.

There is no fear here. I have no fear about an investigation. I just recognize dirty poker when it's played.

Exactly

basically. Someone would have to get Trump to order the FBI investigation.

Flake is a "no" apparently unless it happens. Collins and Murkowski have not weighed in but I find it hard to imagine they wouldn't agree with Flake.
We know how much Trump trusts the FBI. lol Maybe he'll put Strzok and Page on it. Bring McCabe's expertise back out of the bullpin?

Awww, poor baby. Crying about this after trying to destroy a man's life over politics.

Senate Judiciary Committee advances Kavanaugh nomination in party-line vote

On Friday, Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., blasted Kavanaugh's testimony and said it showed him to be "aggressive and belligerent" and took issue with his attacks on Democrats.

"I have never seen anyone who wants to sit on the highest court in the land behave in that manner," she said.

Are all of the allegations being investigated or just the Ford one?
It’s actually up to McConnell frankly. But Flake said “brief and only addressing known allegations.” I’d say that’s the three and a solid LOL at the boat gang bang. But it’s up to Mitch and I’d say Mitch will negotiate that with Flake, Collins, and Murkowski

Except the FBI performs background checks. They haven't talked to anyone involved in this allegation. What is the harm?
The Ds have played dirty poker. Won't feed their form of politics. Vote when they have the votes. Confirm the President's selection. Impeach if necessary. "What's the harm" in following the process?

the harm is obviously the delay and the goal of running out the clock and trying to stop the nominee by any means necessary.

I do not take the Dem's serious on this matter. I honestly can't see how anyone could think they are being sincere.

I am not viewing it as a partisan issue. I just thought both people testified credibly and both had some flaws. There is a short investigation that should be done to see if anything can be corroborated.
