Vols Practice thread #1

So the guy who was worse in the PAC12 and the guy worse in freaking high school than JG vs SEC teams are SEC material but he isn't? 😂🤣😄😆

Sure. 51% passing and 1/1td isn't ratio in hs is SEC material but 62% and 2/1 ratio starting only vs SEC or bowl teams isn't?

Lmao. Stick to the rf.
I'm talking size kiddo. I'll roam where I please also :D

As nostalgic and awesome as the black outlines are, it probably also makes it 2x easier to see the jersey numbers from across the field or from the press box. White on orange isn't the easiest to see. Practical change, IMO.
The real impetus for the black outlines originally was to make them more visible on TV.

Is there some JG video you saw that is new or something? He gained weight. He is about as big as all the first round qbs except Allen.

If he is not SEC material then what qb do we have that is? 🙄

Lol and K-town bit. I think Gucci was being facetious.... Could be wrong.

It is hard to judge JG or any QB that played behind that horrendous OL from last year.

Go back and watch the USCe game from last year. Of the 7 or so sacks that JG ate, 1 was a completely unblocked linebacker on a 5 man rush, 2 were the o-line collapsing 3 seconds after the snap, 1 was the oline collapsing immediately after the snap, and 3 were Guarantano running out of the pocket, and holding onto the ball instead of throwing it away.

The o-line was not good, and collapsed plenty of times, but pretending that every sack that JG ate was their fault, just isn't true.

You keep bringing up this ratio like it’s something big and yet Chryst has a better ratio in college.......

I also think it is unfair to put all of the blame on the offensive line. I think it is fair to place the Lion Share of the blame on the confusion the offense had to where any kind of cohesive operation was impossible
