Yep unfortunately those "accounts" don't include anyone that matters.
The "accounts" in the the black for Guarantano are known fanboys.
i.e. Swain and k-town king.
In other words the founding members of the Guarantano fan club. President and also a client.
Because they must be one and the same.
If you have a mens bathroom, i'm betting that one stall woukd provide all the relief you need for those two entities.
One fly, one shake. And if by chance I'm wrong....
Welll.....One stall would still get it done.
Sorry d87, but I agree with fade on this one. From most accounts, Guarantano has done nothing but improve throughout the offseason and spring. Cryst couldn't hold the starting position at a run first Stanford, how's he going to fair in the SEC? Maybe he surprises us all and is phenomenal, I just don't see it, though.
Dude..You do know Stanford is better than Tennessee right? One team finished in the top 25 and went to a bowl game, another team was the worst team in school history. You think JG is going to "fare well in the SEC"??lol:

Chryst made that same team lose to San Diego State with his poor play.
9/20 72 yards otd 2ints.
Only 200 yard game came against Rice.
Replaced at qb after completing 48.5% and leading the team to 15 whole points vs 1-11 Oregon State. Then he never saw the field again.
Sounds like a SEC qb to me.
But you think he will "fare well in the SEC?":crazy:lol:
lol::thud::thud:
I suppose these stats are indicative of a QB who will "fare well in the SEC" as well right? Per your logic.
Yea. When those are for six starts. He has already had good games vs SEC teams. He has already "fared well in the SEC." I recall the UK, Vandy, and LSU games being against SEC teams.
JG has as many career 200 yard games Vs SEC teams as Chryst has period.
So . . .

Jeez man, lol, do you like any other QBs other than JG? I haven't heard you say anything positive about any of our other QBs.
Edit: I've said good things and bad things about each of our QBs. Just for your perspective.
Btw here are Chrysts stats just for your reference as well. Since you are a stats guy.
I like the commit a lot.
Chryst has a big arm and is mobile for his size. He isn't accurate and isn't our best option though.
Shrout is an inaccurate turnover machine right now. Potential for sure but he is years away from playing. In fact he has probably already been recruited over.
McBride doesn't look like a SEC qb.
Nothing personal. Just facts and opinions based on the facts.
We don't have great qbs. That is why we got Chryst and Shrout to add depth. They were the best available that wanted to come here. Now we are recruiting some good prospects.

So you like the new guy who just committed (Maurer) yet you say that Shrout has turnover issues?
Maurer has played 2yrs straight with a total of 19 games and has 30 TDs and 23 INTs.
What's the difference in Shrout? Shrout only played one full season as a starter.
I'm just playing devil's advocate since you say Shrout needs years before he plays, what about Maurer when he gets here will he need years before he plays since they have essentially the same turnover ratio?
That completion percentage tho. :yuck:
JG has better stats and hopefully is an improved version of last season. The OL sucked last season still he completed 62 percent. He took way to many sacks and failed to keep drives alive by holding the ball way to long. Throw it away and play the next down when the OL break down.
His key to success is the OL and what the current coaches have been able to teach him since they've been here. He has a terrific arm, only average speed, and way below par mental understanding of his position. That is where all the improvement has to come.
UK was probably his best game. He threw the ba well for the most part that game. He still took too many negative plays, though. Had a really bad intentional grounding. Ran out of bounds for a 4 yard loss when he shouldve thrown the ball away at one point too.Lol. JG stats are terrible. What alternate universe did you see JG play in where he has good stats? The Vanderbilt QB had better stats in the month of September than JG had ALL YEAR. Vanderbilt...
Pro tip: If you have a high completion percentage and only 4 touchdowns in a season with a 2:1 TD to INT ratio..you probably shouldnt be the starting QB.
