lol there is no comparison between Butch and Mullen. Did was successful in a mid major conference and was bailed out the last two seasons by Dobbs and other kids who were talented enough to overcome his coaching faults. Mullen took a historically garbage program and has had some success in the toughest division in FBS. That being said the Mullenites can GTFO because I'm all Gruden.

Back in the day, when Fulmer was let go mid-season... what day of the week was Kiffin announced?

I know they announced after the season finale with KY... gave CPF a complete day of farewell and appreciation... so there was no announcement Saturday, after the KY game.

Leaks started late in game week... I remember that much.

Did they introduce Lane & Layla on the following Sunday, Monday or Tuesday?

The reports leaked the Friday before the Kentucky game but if I recall he was formally introduced the Monday after the Kentucky game.

To be honest I don’t see much difference between Mullen and Butch. Both run a terrible offense to watch and neither are really a factor in the SEC.

There's a few others out there. Gruden, Petersen and Kelly would be considered the Grand Slam hire. Patterson would be a home run along with (IMO) John Harbaugh and David Shaw.

There are some triples and standing double hires out there that could work. But UT doesn't need that.

With that said, Mullen is not what we need and I have no desire for our Vols to hire him. OH AND SOON!!!!!!!!

I agree the conferences are obviously different, but you can only beat the teams you play. I’d also venture to guess that Mullen has had better players at MSU than Butch had at CIncy. I’m not a Butch guy, never was.

Hey guys! I want to leave this here. If you’d like to create a calorie deficit before the big meal tomorrow, here’s a simple workout to do in the am. Only 25 mins and will kickstart the metabolism for the day.

1 min warm up: high knees

exercises completed in a circuit adding 5 reps each round.

Begin with 10 push up, 10 body squats and 10 full sit ups. Followed by 20 high knees (jump raising your knees to your chest.) rest for 30 seconds then repeat. Set your timer for 25 mins. This is a simple way to burn some calories for the pig out session! Hope this helps!

My Turkey is never dry! Brine, cheesecloth and wrap in bacon sliced and placed between the lamb, elk, and venison in a spread that is making my mouth water thinking about it!

Probably one of my few times getting to check the thread today. Busy next few days... Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to ALL! Prayers for peace, health and happiness for everyone through the holiday...
