It isn't hard to know that at the very least ergen contributes significantly in the form of sponsorship through dish.

Radio stations have sponsors all the time that have zero say it what they report ... You are placing an awful lot of confidence on a sponsorship that you don't have any idea of it's real value or amounts... jmho

I am not trying to be argumentative here... just not sold on this scenario

And you are completely discounting the amount of input a major sponsor would have.

Beaver is a troll. Nothing he has said has come true.

Who said that the power move was being made by Ergen? Did Beaver? I don't remember it. It seems to me that this is simply assumed because he has the deepest pockets. Deerpark could be completely correct about Ergen, and Beaver still correct about the power move and Gruden. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Could be why Ainge went all nega-grude yesterday. We beat up on Deerpark pretty bad. Maybe EA was throwing shade back at us. Ok, this is too conspiracy for me. I can’t believe I typed this.

On a side note, when did the term "throwing shade" come about? Because I want to go back in time and kill that person. The term doesn't even make sense.

This is correct.

Doesn't prove anything.

Hurts more than helps. FYI.

100% true, those odds mean jack.

Actually I believe there is a conflict of interests with those NON-vegas betting odds and a certain poster on this site.

Not at all... but also know if UT loses one sponsor, they would have zero difficulty replacing them with another.... The money that can put the type of pressure that Beaver is suggesting imho, would need to be irreplaceable money to have that type of impact

I'm not convinced it's Ergen. I think it may be Anderson. But also, keep in mind that donations don't tell the whole story. Think about advertisement dollars too. Dish Network sponsors about anything and everything over there.

Me either. I would agree with Anderson. Ergen's money seems to be heavily tied to stock so he's not very liquid. Also agree about donations not telling the whole story. He's a unique character for sure...

Show me the "Vegas" line.

Ok guys it’s not based on Vegas neither site that had odds out was based in Vegas!! We freaking get it!! However these sites were both similar with the odds on landing Gruden, and that is due to high betting from Tennessee fans! When people say “Vegas” odds they just say that because Vegas is associated with odds makers and betting, so if we on a message board make a mistake and accidentally say Vegas odds DEAL WITH IT!! FYI 2 reputable betting sites had identical odds so it doesn’t matter if it’s freaking Vegas or not!!

I may be wrong in saying this, correct me if so, SFD, but....

I think you're conflating two distinctive, independent points here. I don't think SFD is implying his sponsorships are groundbreaking in terms of money (though substantial as they may be), rather, she is saying that Ergen either gets his way (e.g. Gruden or another approvable option) or he walks. He and his team have seen the toxicity of power wielded from the hands of the wrong people. He is challenging that this time around.
