Coasty, I agree with others. Ergen may not directly be donating, but DISH is everywhere. They're even on the tickets this year.
Someone (said he was a friend of Deerpark's) posted that he was NOT an Adidas rep and that was NOT the company that he represented ... If that is true then this narrative does not hold water
Mornin' Coasty. I'm still patiently waiting.
Great post Jos3y, my sentiments as well.
Coasty, I think a pretty good source said yesterday that Anderson was the one pushing for Gruden. I don't know anything, but I did read that.
Maybe Beaver's big surprise for us is that he's taking us all to Cancun. I'm headed out to buy a new swimsuit.![]()
Heather on 99.1 said that during our 1st coaching search Charlie strong said yes to us and then changed his not mind overnight and didn't get on the plane to come here. Is that true? I thought that it was just a flat out no when we asked him if he wanted to be the coach. I never knew was that close.

Not trying to be argumentative, but that wasn't what you were saying ( or at least the way me and others took it). Despite that fact your information was wrong anyway.
If we get Gruden, that means the whole landscape changes. That even means if Gruden wants to keep current endorsements, you let him. UTs ad will have to go full Bama and let Gruden have total control like Saban has.
If Ergen wants it done it should be no problem. Ergen losing a few billion and gaining a few billion is no big deal and we are only talking about millions with Tennessee. Take a look at this link especially near bottom of page with net worth over time graph. Ergen has lost and gained what Haslam is worth over last 2 years.

Here is Jim Haslam. Not even in Ergens league

It is impossible for us to know what kind of agreements have been worked out. Ergen could well be and is likely to be a strings attached donor.
