You know this I am sure, but wrestling teaches so much about leverage. The school.I was at in GA had a great football team and a great wrestling program. Over half of the wrestlers were football players.

I think it was the same in my school, although it was a VERY small school. It was why I started, then just fell in love with it.

Other than the Cushy job, I don't see Tennessee forking over the amount of money it would take to get this guy. We have learned from the last 2 hires that Tennessee wants a diamond in the ruff, the up and comer or the next big thing.

I understand his competitive fire and maybe just maybe he doesn't want to look back one day and say "I should have given that a shot"...I guess after the last 10 years of Tennessee football, my optimism has decreased. I really hope I am wrong and if I am I will be the first to eat crow.
