Official Jon Gruden Thread XXVI

The private part is weird but you don’t have to follow someone to read their tweets when you are tagged in them. Currie can 100% read the Beavers tweets even though Currie doesn’t follow him.

But do you honestly think that if Currie is going into a meeting that is supposedly this big, he is watching twitter???

the mighty stinky trolling beaver...can't stop saying stupid infantile ish and it doesn't even matter because all those twitterers eat it all up...all 250 of them...i'm sure john currie is so intimidated by this high rolling behavioral game theorist

It dont really matter if his account is private or how many people follows him. His twitter post have already been copied and pasted all over VN and prob VQ, reaching many more than his 250 twitter followers.

You can speak to anyone in the world with the @ symbol. How’s the Salisbury steak?

1. Not when your tweets are protected and they don’t follow you.
2. Curry likely gets hundreds of @‘s a day. But I’m sure he’d let that one from the guy named VolsScotchGolf with a beaver avatar influence him greatly.
3. It’s delicious. Thanks for asking.

Just as a rule, I wouldn't judge how much smarter you are than anyone on this site. There are Ivy grads, lawyers, engineers, and I bet even a few rocket scientists. You just sound like a dolt charging against SFD.

I work for Food City, but i like to try and figure out what the hell yall are talking about.

No its not. You really think Currie is on his phone reading his thousands of mentions he's getting every minute? Hell no.

Well, there is a middle ground. He will see it. Others are teeeting at him too... I got a reply from a famous golfer when I tagged him in a pic I took while playing golf in Ireland. People pay attention.

Sure you do. We've been doing it since 2008.

Not if we were about to knowingly send the program into oblivion. Think about it, I know the last three hires say differently, but too many influential people are pointing for this to go the right way this time. Don't believe anyone on here? Fine, look at what the former players are saying. Look at what the "non-puppet" media members are saying. Look at what was approved and said at the BoT meeting.

The arrows are all pointing in the same direction.

He talked about the banner idea on his twitter and said here that the UTAD didn’t like that stunt, or something along those lines. Did he also talk about that idea on here before be mentioned it on twitter? If not, that makes me beleive the UTAD is aware of his twitter.

True. But I assure you John Currie does not care about that Twitter account tweeting him mean things and it certainly doesn't "turn up the heat" on him.

Tennessee's Athletic Dept makes The White House look like a stable place to work.
Sorry to bore peeps with stats, but I found these numbers troublesome...UT football attendance was 6th in the nation last year. Yet UTAD performance overall is trending down when compared to the rest of the SEC(while the conference as a whole is trending up), and UTAD overall performance ranks 46th nationally, which is pretty bad given the resources available.

Simply put, Haslam’s methods haven’t worked on the performance side.

I’ve not been trolling, I’ve said from the start I doubt Beaver. I haven’t hid from that at all in this thread, so what’s your point?

Over 82,000 posts... Dude, wth do you do? Lol

That's like a blend of the Rain Man in a matrix. Impressive.

And that is his plan. He is using Volnation as a tool. He said as much:

"Volnation truly underestimates the amount of influence they wield in the Gruden deal. Consumer expectations is a powerful force."

Agree to disagree.

I don't find the information hard to swallow, I believe it to be true.... What I do find hard to swallow is that Ergen and Company will be able to pull it off.... I am taking a wait and see on that!

40% chance they do

I love all the information. And until this thread and the super sleuths, I could not figure out why.
