How much power does social media have when your tweets are protected and the person you’re making veiled threats to isn’t one of your followers and thus can’t read them?

I’ll eagerly await your reply while enjoying my Lubys.

You can speak to anyone in the world with the @ symbol. How’s the Salisbury steak?

The private part is weird but you don’t have to follow someone to read their tweets when you are tagged in them. Currie can 100% read the Beavers tweets even though Currie doesn’t follow him.

Thanks.

I would take that as a very positive sign that we may not be dealing with Coach Delbert McGoolemyname next season.
I mean why give the go ahead to upgrade a half empty stadium?

Exactly. You do not approve a $400M athletic stadium renovation and then trot out a $3m coach to live in it.

Can you read them if you are mentioned in the tweet? I think that would be like tagging someone on Facebook even when they are not your 'friend'

If it makes you all feel better. This crazy roller coaster with the boosters of the past week didn't actually happen, and Gruden said no way back when Larry said he did.

The powers that be meeting isn't until tonight.

Based on that fact and the fact that Beaver is twitting what he is now says to me that the meeting tonight is the last meeting to settle this power struggle once and for all.

Almost like a loser leave town grudge match.

It appears to me that the Beaver is applying final pressure before this meeting.

I'm still catching up here, but I also just noticed that the Beav's twitter has blown up in the last couple of hours. Giving Currie all out h*ll.

I have to be honest... and I want to believe, but I think MIT is full of ish.

Just have to say, would a multimillionaire with so much influence really give a **** about message boarding and twittering? Seems like it’s sophmoric.

He has been sent by the people behind all of this here to the message board to spread the message and incite people into doing things like #emptyNeyland in order to put pressure on UT to do what they are proposing.

Has nothing to do with why would a millionaire waste his time on a message board.

If he is a messenger for the billionaire, and his job is to influence people, then yes, yes he would. Generally speaking, the more passionate portion of the fan base is located in message boards. Get them hooked just enough, and they will do all the talking you need.

He only has 250 or so followers. Why does he need more? His account is known enough, once again on a large, free, public message board, to get screenshots taken of what he says and then posted here. No need for 100k followers if he can spread his message just as easy with 200.

A spark can start a fire, how much fuel is behind it will determine how long and hot it will burn.

And you can direct message each other on Twitter.
