I don't see MIT's tweets as evidence of a Haslam win. Just another salvo at Haslam in a series of shots more or less across his bow:
1. Davenport's decision on outsourcing
2. The BoT vote today on the revised renovations
3. MIT's tweets

All building to
4. Tonight's booster meeting

Possible nugget: Atlanta Vol & Beav both went inactive within min of each other and haven’t been back on. I’ve been monitoring their activity for days. One or the other is usually active around this time of day. Now both silent.

You've been monitoring their activity for days?...... I thought I had a problem

Sorry, guys, I've just been skimming along to get caught up have a question.
Am I correctly understanding that they voted on and approved funds for stadium upgrades?

Yes sir! The major boosters are “Centennial” contributors.

Stadium renovation budget gets upgraded today due to new booster money. Deal to funnel more research opportunities and funding into the academic side was alluded to by Bubba a few days back. Ergen has the support of every major booster except Haslam. It seems like Ergen has his bases covered unless I'm missing something. Currie siding with Haslam at this point is basically career suicide.

People that I know and trust tell me that Big Jim won't get out of the way. I know they are big boosters. I've been over there with them on multiple occasions. I don't however think that they are sabotaging the school or the football program. I honestly think that they think anything they do is in the best interest of the university. I'm just not sure their decisions are always wise ones.

I don't have intel that they are sabotaging this. I do think he's holding up the "official" firing of Butch. I'm not sure why. I don't think Butch's presence has any direct influence on the Gruden deal.

What is his problem? Does he just not want a coach in here who he couldn't control?

I expect that VQ and here will be ablaze with information tonight around 10-11 PM EST. Once that meeting is over, there is no telling what we will begin to hear.

What time is that?

Go read something on the internet about the power of social media. As soon as your done eating dinner at Lubys.

How much power does social media have when your tweets are protected and the person you’re making veiled threats to isn’t one of your followers and thus can’t read them?

I’ll eagerly await your reply while enjoying my Lubys.
