Yet the trainer knew nothing, the medical staff knew nothing nor did the SEC's rep know anything, but CBJ should be responsible and be fired for something he is not responsible for based on NCAA rules

When you are the CEO that is what happens. Same for a top level Commander in the military. The buck stops at the top. It's on your your watch.

Put very little stock into what Hurd's mom says. She has an axe to grind with Butch and she's probably just trying to pile on. She's not real happy about getting put in jail in Knoxville following her making an ass of herself at the Florida game last year. Hope she enjoys her boys tenure at Baylor..

Agreed her reputation is question. However, she's never waivered from that. Others were speculating too. Lower body injury..c'mon man

This is lame. The University is responsible. He's a representative of the University. Even if he's not "in the process" technically, he has to own it. Can't just say, it's not my job. Makes it all seem like a cover up. He has to be human here and not just blame everyone else - whether it was his responsibility or not.

Anyone got a transcript of how it sounded? Couldn't listen.

I'm pretty certain if it isn't Gruden, and is some 'up-and-comer' most of us will check out completely from UT football as is

That's impossible! Beav, DTO, and others said it is a done deal. If it's a done deal there can be no "Google" coach.

Me thinks prior history of concussion cover up, along with the Kendrick debacle over the weekend = big problems for Butchy boy.

The cover up is usually what gets people, not the crime itself....

If it really was Butch’s policy to have players report to training staff for attention then he could be at fault.

Agreed. This should be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

No, there will be many that will celebrate mediocrity and their victory over the Gruden supporters. It will be a veritable orgy of call-outs and e-wang measuring.
I'll reluctantly have to ask D4H how he handles it...I'm sure he's got good practice on the matter !

In a concussion protocol the SEC rep takes over on the sideline. If the SEC rep says a player can't go in, they can't go in.
