Tell you what, LG. Since you've been so reasonable lately (and by reasonable, I mean not the most rabid out of control poster in recent weeks) I'll expand on the thoughts of "dignity" and how Presidents carry themselves going back in history. My perceptions and opinions, of course...
Trump - I perceive as someone who thrives on attention and throws the aforementioned temper tantrums which generate said attention. But far more intelligent than you give him credit for. Dignified? lol
Obama - I perceived as a narcissistic know it all. But also far more intelligent than the right gave him credit for. Dignified? No. Looked far to eager to take a step down from his rightful place as leader of the free world.
Bush 43 - Far more intelligent than you gave him credit for, but I think allowed others to run more freely in his Administration that he should have. Dignified? No, not really. But likable.
Clinton - A snake, but a snake you respected and could deal with. And a snake you could forgive. Dignified? No.
Bush 41 - Another snake, but one that really wasn't as likable as Clinton.
Reagan - Probably the last "noble" President we had. Reagan presented an air of confidence as well as bringing dignity in the office.
Carter - I would say he was dignified, but simply overwhelmed by the office. But throughout, he managed to maintain his composure.
Ford - Not around long enough to really say...
Nixon - A snake. And a snake you didn't trust.
Johnson - See Nixon.
Kennedy - Brought a different approach to the Oval Office especially being so young. Dignified? Yeah, I'd say so.
Eisenhower - Brought a dignified air to the office, but I believe mainly because of his military background. There's not many retired Generals/Admirals (I'm sure you'll name a couple) that don't have an air of dignity about them.
