I'm not claiming I believe anything. I'm regurgitating what was said. However, as others have said, OrangeVenom is very well connected in the behind the scenes recruiting world in GA and to a lesser extent TN. When he speaks, it's thought provoking at worst.

What lies does the handler say that dissuades Tee from UT?

The whole thing is either bogus or it has legs the way OV laid it out.

Only mention of lies I've seen were supposedly UT saying a handler was lying.

Now that could mean lies to Tee about UT like program wise or lies about UT being in a bidding war.

I'm probably in the minority here but if Clemson is paying 250k plus a full ride for football players then go get that money young man! Nothing in life is assured and a college degree and a quarter mil will be a pretty awesome springboard if you get hurt or don't develop into an NFL player.

Has anyone looked at Clemson's schedule?
It really is pathetic.
There toughest opponent is from the sec and only one truly strong team from the acc they will face is Florida state.

If they don't waltz into the playoffs dabo needs a jock check!

If all of this is true and Tee did in fact take $250k from Clemson, I don't want to hear on how great Clemson is at recruiting when they're pulling the most dirty tastics to sign recruits. It's a shame that Butch is trying to recruit by the rules so maybe he needs to step up his "dirty game" a bit.

So you really think Richmond and Kongbo turned down Ole Miss(cause we know they would never sweeten the pot) and just chose UT with nothing extra? Lets be honest here.

Maybe they just didn't like Ole Miss as much as Tennessee? Maybe Ole Miss didn't pay them well enough?

Can't speak for Richmond, but I know Kongbo has said many times it actually came down to UT giving him the offer first and believed in him before the hype and others jumped on board and that meant a lot to his family that UT was for real....

So I've got a theory on the lies being spread about UT by the handler.

I'm sure he's telling tee and family that all schools do this. That Tennessee has paid him personally for many players, so he knows they can. The narrative is probably "ut is refusing to give you the money, yet I've seen them pay more for less talented players. This tells me they don't place a high priority on you. If they did, they'd pony up and pay"
