So either Bran or Howland will have to come into play in making it known who Jon is. Or maybe he just mounts a dragon. Or maybe it's never known to the general populace.
Assuming it does become known, who has the greater claim, Ned's daughter or his nephew?

Why isn't all of King's Landing rioting? Cersei just blew up the Vatican with the UN sitting in there. Who is she queen of?
Meh. He just seems like such a minor player in this. Guy gets introduced out of nowhere (for show viewers), claims lordship over a house that is divided in strength and power (half of which will be fighting against him), and is now supposed to be a legitimate threat to Dany, who has been building her power over 6 seasons.
The Martell army (?) is already with her. That's how Varys met back up with her and Tyrion so quickly.

The aftershow made a big deal about the friction between Sansa and Jon, and Benioff said(paraphrasing)that it was worrisome for Jon. It really sounds like they are setting up for a big conflict between them.
Was anyone else convinced it was a Cersei dream sequence untilTommen stepped out? It just all seemed to go too well for her to be real, especially with her nabbing the Septa. I kept expecting it to be interrupted by, "It's time for your trial."
Is Dany sailing directly to King's Landing?
I just don't see how they won't be rerouted or delayed somehow. As soon as they drop anchor at King's Landing, that's it. It's over. Cersei will be dead in minutes and Dany will have the Iron Throne and be invincible with 3 dragons and the entire Dothraki army protecting her. Not that there's really much opposition at this point, anyway.
All this hate for Cersei and she is my favorite character on GOT by miles.
She's a very well written character, but she's still my least favorite by far. i'm actually kind of annoyed some people were so happy she "won" last night. can't say how much i wanted to choke that smug look off her face after watching the Sept explode. Don't think I've ever looked so forward to a character's death than hers, and that's including Joffery and Walder Frey.
I was happy she got revenge on the High Sparrow and his crew, but she didn't like she took out a lot of other people too. So while I like she got revenge, I'm looking forward to her dying as well.
that's the thing though, I don't like how people are happy she "got revenge." ***** deserved everything she had coming. The Faith Militant is a bad thing, but I'll gladly take them and the High Sparrow over Cersei. Hell, it's Cersei's own damn fault the Faith Militant even obtained the power they had in the first place. All because she's a selfish, power hungry, maniacal bag of crap.

Something else I'm wondering: Since Jon is actually Ned's nephew and not his son, what effect does that have on his claim to rule the north? Of course, at this point, nobody knows who Jon really is, so the show has to come up with some way to make it known who he is. I presume that's where Littlefinger will play a large role. He probably already knows somehow.
My prediction for next season...Baelish is going to cause havoc between Sansa and Jon. It's going to be the worst thing GoT has done...turning Stark against Stark. Which is stupid because Jon at this point has no other ambition other than to stop the WW from destroying everybody. Everybody has forgotten about Euron and his Dragon horn. I think he is going to cause a major disruption in Dany's plans. If he really can control dragons with that thing, that would be very interesting to see what happens...Who knows what the Mad Queen is going to do now? I have no idea other than I think in the end Jaime kills her.
Just watched the after show Inside the episode with Benioff and Weiss...They were not so subtly hinting that Jon is in deep doodoo. They were talking about how they wanted the scene to hearken back to the scene where they made Robb king in the north. They said it should be worrisome for Jon how it did not go so well for the first king in the north. And that there was a lot of friction between him and Sansa under the surface still....I'm not liking where they were pointing at all.
What has she ever done except what was best for her children?
yeah I get that hse's the reason that the sparrow was in power in the first place, but she plays the game. She is a product of her environment, and this last episode was Cersei finally coming to terms with what her destiny truly is.
WOW, just WOW!! I didn't think they could top the Battle of the Bastards episode but boy was I wrong....This one just killed it. So many things happened that I have to watch it a few more times to make sure I got everything straight.
- Cersei, what a phycho. Sicking Fraken-mountain on that "Shame" lady and then saying, shame, shame, shame as she walked out. Just frightening.
- The explosion was unreal too. So much carnage, especially that bell landing on some innocent bystander. LOL
- What about the look that Jaime gave Cersei? Something's going on there, he's not happy and may have to rethink his life, that's for sure...
- Lastly, I was pumped when Arya took off that face and killed Walder Fray. That made me smile....
- Don't underestimate Littlefinger though, he'll have something up his sleeve.
The Starks will not fight against Dany..If anything they will join together. The story is not really, nor ever really has been The Game of Thrones..It is The Song of Ice and Fire.
