HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Arya is returning to Westeros by way of the riverlands. Fray is throwing a party at the Twins to celebrate his victory at the twins and has a wedding to a new bride since Cat killed Walder's youngest wife at the 1st red wedding. Also in the books Daven Lannister is betrothed to a Frey girl.

"Arya had her own prayer too. Ser Meryn, it went, Ser Ilyn, Ser Gregor. Dunsen, Raff the Sweetling, Queen Cersei. She would've included the names of the Freys of the Crossing, too, if she'd known them. One day I will, she told herself, and then I'll kill them all."

Well played

Why the hell is the guy that directed the past two episodes and Hardhome not doing every episode? He's amazing.

Great, great finale.

Can't wait to see Cersei get hers. At first I was hating that Cersei was basically winning and outsmarting the faith. But it sets her up to hopefully be defeated by Jamie/Dany/Arya.

All the Cersei hate, I think they've done a spectacular job of building up just how much of a villain she is. It adds to the show, and it will eventually make her downfall that much sweeter. A show is only as good as its top villain. Makes the heroes that much more heroic.

Great, GREAT ****ing episode.

-First 25 minutes were so intense, haunting, and shocking. the score was great. the effects were great. while i knew Cersei had a plan regarding the wildfyre, I was not expecting it to play out like that. and to take out so many characters just like that? damn.
-I'm so glad we got a sort of adaptation of the DWD epilogue. Wasn't completely similar, or as haunting, but it was still well done. At least in this case, we actually get to see Pycelle die.
-Cersei is the worst. I can't wait for her to die. Some might think I'm in the wrong, but I was pulling for Lancel to make it to the candles in time...
-Lyanna Mormont rules. Would pull for her to be Queen over Dany.
-Scenes with Dany (both with Daario and Tyrion) were very well done. quite touching in a manner of both. I'm quite surprised how much I like show Daario over book Daario.
-Vary's transportation skills might just be better than Littlefinger's.
-Walder Frey got Scott Tenorman'ed, and it was awesome. SO GLAD they fit the Frey pies into the show!! RIHFF:Rest in HELL Frey ****ers!!
-Last, but not least, official R+L=J confirmation!!! I mean, we all knew wit, but it didn't make it any less awesome. I'm quite glad they didn't make it dumb and have it end up being twins (Jon and Meera).

Only disappointment is that we will have to wait until next season for more.

Also, would have loved to have had me some Hound tonight as well.
:good!:

Exactly.

I don't think Sansa exactly cottoned to the "KING OF THE NORTH" declaration. :)

Littlefinger got some direct eye contact.

I also don't think sansa wants to direct these houses in a time of war. Let Jon do that. You're still a lady and now the highest remaining. Cersei isn't a lady, she's a psychopath.

My breakdown:
1) lol how tommen of tommen to die like that.
2) now we wait for little brother to kill Cersei
3) disappointed that Varys didn't kill pycelle and kevan.
4) sansa needs to check herself before she wrecks herself. Don't make eye contact with little finger. Kill him ASAP.
5) grandma is gonna choke a b#$%&.
6) dany has quite the fleet. Scary considering the shape of the rest of westoros.
7) tower of joy almost pissed me off. I thought they were gonna keep to a whisper and I almost kicked a bucket of light bulbs

Good episode. Sad the season is over.

WOW, just WOW!! I didn't think they could top the Battle of the Bastards episode but boy was I wrong....This one just killed it. So many things happened that I have to watch it a few more times to make sure I got everything straight.
- Cersei, what a phycho. Sicking Fraken-mountain on that "Shame" lady and then saying, shame, shame, shame as she walked out. Just frightening.
- The explosion was unreal too. So much carnage, especially that bell landing on some innocent bystander. LOL
- What about the look that Jaime gave Cersei? Something's going on there, he's not happy and may have to rethink his life, that's for sure...
- Lastly, I was pumped when Arya took off that face and killed Walder Fray. That made me smile....
- Don't underestimate Littlefinger though, he'll have something up his sleeve.

Amazing episode. It and Hardhome are the best of the series so far, IMO. So many talking points.

-When Arya pulls off her disguise and says who she is, I got chills, man.
-The look Jamie gave Cersei when she sat on the throne was pure daggers. He's going to kill her, me thinks (or try, at least).
-Sansa and Littlefinger looking at each other like, "can't believe the bastard is king of the north," when he's actually qualified to be much more, was funny
-Sam and Gilly's small story-line should have waited until next season, show us the Hound!
-Dany dumping Daario. Made sense that it happened, but sad nonetheless. True love doesn't last long in this show :cray:

My prediction for next season...Baelish is going to cause havoc between Sansa and Jon. It's going to be the worst thing GoT has done...turning Stark against Stark. Which is stupid because Jon at this point has no other ambition other than to stop the WW from destroying everybody. Everybody has forgotten about Euron and his Dragon horn. I think he is going to cause a major disruption in Dany's plans. If he really can control dragons with that thing, that would be very interesting to see what happens...Who knows what the Mad Queen is going to do now? I have no idea other than I think in the end Jaime kills her.

I guess I got a different impression from Sansa's eye contact with Littlefinger than what everyone else seems to have gotten. I thought she was relieved that Jon took the helm, and her look to LF was kind of a "F you, looks like you miscalculated this one" look. I didn't watch the after show, did they say anything about this? I just can't see Sansa being pissed and choosing LF over Jon.

Something else I'm wondering: Since Jon is actually Ned's nephew and not his son, what effect does that have on his claim to rule the north? Of course, at this point, nobody knows who Jon really is, so the show has to come up with some way to make it known who he is. I presume that's where Littlefinger will play a large role. He probably already knows somehow.

Littlefinger does not know. Nobody but Howland Reed and Bran Stark know. Ned kept his promise.

The aftershow made a big deal about the friction between Sansa and Jon, and Benioff said(paraphrasing)that it was worrisome for Jon. It really sounds like they are setting up for a big conflict between them.

I actually liked the way they did Tommen's death. The scene was shot incredibly well. Only decision the poor guy ever made on his own.

Little finger definitely worries me.

Is Dany sailing directly to King's Landing?

I just don't see how they won't be rerouted or delayed somehow. As soon as they drop anchor at King's Landing, that's it. It's over. Cersei will be dead in minutes and Dany will have the Iron Throne and be invincible with 3 dragons and the entire Dothraki army protecting her. Not that there's really much opposition at this point, anyway.

So either Bran or Howland will have to come into play in making it known who Jon is. Or maybe he just mounts a dragon. Or maybe it's never known to the general populace.

Assuming it does become known, who has the greater claim, Ned's daughter or his nephew?

Euron Greyjoy..the forgotten one.

Was anyone else convinced it was a Cersei dream sequence until
Tommen stepped out? It just all seemed to go too well for her to be real, especially with her nabbing the Septa. I kept expecting it to be interrupted by, "It's time for your trial."

That's the great thing about everything that just happened...u have no freaking idea about outcomes. Just guesses on the causes of future chaos.

It's Jon. Stark and Targ blood gives him the best claim to the throne out of everyone.

Meh. He just seems like such a minor player in this. Guy gets introduced out of nowhere (for show viewers), claims lordship over a house that is divided in strength and power (half of which will be fighting against him), and is now supposed to be a legitimate threat to Dany, who has been building her power over 6 seasons.

I'm pretty positive she's headed to Dorne to team up with the Sand Snakes and Tyrells before heading up to Kings Landing. Otherwise the Varys plot the past couple episodes was a waste.
