Guys, you're floating all these names out there and CBJ might get someone from inside the program and just replace them. Perhaps, Strip, or Thig? Just throwing that out there for considerstion. Matthews said that CBJ doesn't believe in salaries more than 500 to 600,000. That won't get you a very "famous" DC name. Maybe someone from a small school again.

CBJ better start changing his beliefs then if he wants to stay employed...........

I've stated multiple times I'm with most in that I would love to get Shoop. I have to believe with what's at stake next year he wouldn't Fire Jancek unless he's confident he has an upgrade agreed in principle. Whether that's Shoop or someone else. But this has to be an upgrade.

After just giving up 645 yards rushing and 49 points to Baylor who was on their 3rd string QB....and missing a top WR....and a regular season 1,000 rusher? I sure hope not.

Only name that I've heard we've vetted thus far as well. Just like with Debord last year, I think with Butch he has who he wants in mind and it would take one helluva impression to make him change his mind.

Might be a good time to look for a new DC. Enticing to take that position with all the talent now on D. As another stated, I too would welcome Wilcox back.

I like Jones but I think for us to reach the promised land with him he needs at least one elite coordinator. Jancek did a fine job but IDK that we were ever going to win a title with him. The question is will UT land an elite guy here or go cheap and hope like hell it doesn't blow up.

When has CBJ made a hire that VN was happy with? I think it will be someone that we all think will be a "WTH" kinda hire. If I recall correctly, Thig was the only one, and Martinez and Jancek were not very well liked, from their time at UGA.
