Did UT Treat Jancek Unfairly?

Personal. Mostly, I wanted an excuse to use that gif. :)

Fwiw, just heard Hyams say "the decision to fire Jancek wasn't all about his coaching, let's leave it at that." Clearly didn't want to get into some details that he seemed to know, which would seem to validate what Swain said...that their were off the field, personal issues that contributed to the firing. Not trying to go all "D4H" and say I told you so, just trying to piece together information from credible sources to try and get as close to the truth as possible.

He needed to be let go after Tennessee blew the games against Oklahoma,Florida and Alabama.

Cmon Dave

He didn't blow the game against bama. They simply made the plays to win it. It happens when you play good teams

If the players could have brought down Mayfield that would have been a win too. They were in position

So....I was on a conference call last night with my best friend and his 20 year old son that attends UT. his son is a competitive body builder and knows several of the players extremely well. Here is the story I got last night on the Jancek situation.
Jancek has been involved in some very inappropriate behavior for quite a while. So much so that it has been causing problems around the complex. CBJ and the other coaches have asked him to cut it out and he basically refused to comply, so Butch cut him loose. My friend's son alluded to exactly what the behavior was, and it apparently is common knowledge among all players, boosters, etc. Nothing criminal, but embarrassing. If it is true, it seems that Butch told him "either knock it off before you embarrass our program, or you're gone."
If what I was told last night is true, I can certainly understand CBJ making the decision he made, and it gives me great confidence that CBJ will make the tough decisions that need to be made to protect our program from any form of negativity.

It was midget porn on recruiting visits from what my source said.He wouldn't even close the app at the dinner table.

And Butch, holding his hand, palm down, belt level says "I've had it up to here with midgets!"

And after the comment, UT's Office of Diversity and Inclusion scolded him for not using the correct made up size neutral pronoun in his official statement.

And Butch said, in somewhat of a frustrated tone "Midgets can kiss my azz!" :eek:lol:

So why are all the media folks beating around the bush on the "real" reason for the firing? If it wasn't illegal, do tell.
