Why are people big on Shoop? Just from looking at Penn State's score from this year the defense didn't seem like much to write home about.

Had good defenses at Vandy as well. I believe I saw someone say that Butch said in an interview this year that Shoop was the toughest DC to call against.

Honestly, I'm nervous we're going to be severly underwhelmed with another unknown MAC-type coach... if he let Jancek go without already have a Shoops caliber candidate lined up, he deserves everything that comes his way, especially considering 2016 is the defining year for him as a head coach.

Not if you get someone in quick. Warrior did say that he liked that our staff has stayed intact. So we will see.

Seriously wish CBJ and CJ could have worked their differences out. Once the defense started stunting and blitzing more I thought it improved dramatically.

Shop is also a secondary coach so possibly Martinez is out and opens up a QB Coach position. Curious to how this plays out. Got a feeling this isn't the last coaching change.
