This is coach speak for Jancik was fired. Kind of surprising to see this happen given the history between BJ and JJ. Wish JJ the best of luck!!!

I'm sure whoever it is, I have no idea if it's Shoop or Buddy Ryan, but I'm sure they are crossing T's and dotting I's on the contract right now

Top candidate. Money will bring him here. CBJ and Co vetted him a couple of weeks ago and mutual interests was there. Reason he turned down Lsu and Aubbie both. This coaching search should be over rather swiftly imo

This is a huge opportunity to get better, but we better have someone great lined up. Jancek did a great job laying the foundation. I think Oklahoma and Florida (and maybe partially Alabama late) were the main reasons for this move. Good luck to Jancek and let's not mess this up!

Exactly. Chad's info comes from VQ and VN like us. He said Shoop is the name that's been thrown out; we've known that for a week.

My guess is we get the Girls LaCrosse coach from the University of Phoenix. Solely based on how we went about hiring an OC last year.

I'm sorry but why would you want Bob Shoop? Him having the 15th rated defense this year is like saying Northwestern was ranked number 12/13.

He just proved he has no idea how to stop a SEC team (see bowl game)
