No he's not. He was as bad as anyone about pass pro and run blocking.
You guys act like snapping the ball properly is a C only job. Just cause Weisman screwed up snaps you act like Crowder is an all sec C. If Thomas or Weisman get the snaps down, they should be taking his spot. Crowder is not a starter on any other top SEC team imo.
Are you f'n blind?...A retarded monkey could see the difference in the OL when Crowder was not in. Early in the season I will give you. But as the season went on, Crowder was playing very well.

Robertson is probably our strongest Offensive Lineman. Not Redshirting.

After rewatching some games, would not be surprised if Kerbyson started over M. Jackson.

No way, Jose. Kerbyson isn't beating out Jackson.

IF Blair continues to progress and has his ducks in a row, I honestly think our best lineup would be

LT Blair
LG Jackson
C Kerbyson
RG Robertson
RT Richmond

I think the most likely scenario is

Blair
Jackson
Crowder
Robertson
Kerbyson

I just really hate having Kerbyson on the outside. He is not a tackle.

I don't think she was a troll. I had a little interaction with her several days before that, and it was fine. She was a newbie, and I think she either freaked out or someone got a hold of her phone.

She/he wasn't new they joined in November of 2012. For someone that claimed to be on the FF for a long while they put on a good act of not knowing anything.

I'm going to make a bold prediction:

LT - ?
LG - Jackson
C - Crowder
RG - Robertson
RT - Kerbyson

But I do think the system gets tweaked and because of that and another year in the weight room they all play better.

Flowd and other MC guys, my ETSU Bucs are bringing my boy Coach Rader and Coach Brummet home as WR coach/Passing game coordinator and LB coach, respectively.

Staff is rounding out full of former Bucs and Vols.

I don't like Kerbyson in the Tackle spot either. It will be interesting to see how game ready Jones or Richmond could be, I'll leave that one to the coaches obviously.

Kerbyson's natural position is Guard. I'm sure he could play Center in a pinch, but would he beat out Crowder, I don't think so. Robertson is a stud, he's not sitting. Jackson has been average, IMO, which disappoints me since I expected big things out of him.

When given a chance to play guard Kerbyson has out performed Jackson.

This is what I'm hoping Debord brings to the team. Hopefully he'll be able to straighten the line issues out and put the players in their best position.

I rewatched the first half of that game where we slayed all the taxes last night. I'm having a really hard time not letting my expectations get out of control. I'm starting to feel like all of our pieces are there. We should be about as dangerous as any team in the country in my opinion. There are not a lot of weaknesses to point to (outside of depth concerns at QB). Especially if Blair and Richmond get up to speed.

There are some unknowns at linebacker. After watching again, I don't think Bynum is the future unless he gets a lot better (that might have been obvious to some, but after the first time I watched I felt really good about him, not as much after going back). I think we have plenty of talented options to work with though.

I think Weatherd is going to emerge as one of our best players on defense next year.

We played almost completely flawless in the first half. Crazy.

Jalen Hurd is unreal and I think he'll be one of the best players in the country next year. Those that think Kamara will be the man are out of their minds. He will compliment Hurd well. He's a great option as number 2. Should be an upgrade over Lane.

Barnett is an obvious beast. But I thought Vereen looked great in that game too. Had their QB running for his life a couple different times.

Owen Williams had a couple of plays where he was just flying off the ball. He could be really really good next year. He reminded me of Dan Williams.

We are lucky to get Randolph back for another year. He's a good player and I feel like I under appreciated him last year.

I used the word "dangerous" specifically because I think we will actually be capable of beating anyone we line up against next year. We almost could last year with all of our best players being freshmen. It should be a fun ride.

It's finally happening.

Go Vols

I am excited for next year too, but I am trying to temper my enthusiasm with the reality that Iowa was not very good. The good news is we beat a team we should have beat and did it decisively. Our staff had the team prepared and the team was excited to play in a bowl game. The future is bright for the Big Orange.

Unrealistic predictions that are based on two great recruiting classes and a big bowl win against a slow Big ten team.

The Vols need to earn some respect first on the field against SEC teams!![/QUOTE]

... other than Spurrier's little mickey mouse teams, which CBJ owns.

I played for Rader his first year. He is a good coach. MC losing two good ones

A team which won 11 games 3 years in a row. I hate how some underplay the significance of those wins. When we fell, USCe essentially took our place. Butch beating them was essential for us getting back to our place of prominence. That said, other wins are coming.

I'm Loling over here.

@SwainEvent: Reading is fundamental.

What I said: I have respect for Phillip Fulmer. I know many of guys who have a problem with CPF.

@Sabanocchio: @SwainEvent I just repeated what was cut and pasted from Facebook Onto Volquest. What facts aren't straight?

@SwainEvent: @Sabanocchio On my FB wall it specifically says I have respect for CPF and not bitter and enjoyed my time. You are the king copy and paster

@SwainEvent: @Sabanocchio Do you want to talk FACTS on here Sab? I dont think you do bud.

@Sabanocchio: @SwainEvent What the hell is that supposed to mean? Why are you attacking me? I just repeated what was said?

@SwainEvent: I usually dont care what is said on message boards but making up ish about how I personally feel about Fulmer is not gonna fly.

Good analysis. Hurd is a man running the ball. The one area where I believe he struggles is catching a pass and gaining steam. I think this where Kamara helps. He should get the ball in space. Hurd also struggled early in the year reading blocks in the open field, but he got much better.

I can't remember what game it was, but I remember someone commenting about the play where we faked outside action and hit Lane down the middle. It was probably a 20-25 yard game. Someone said that if that was Kamara, it would have been a TD. Someone who can hit a home run will make the offense even more lethal.

He sure looked good on the pass he caught at the end of the South Carolina game. Once he got the ball he was not going to be denied the end zone. He might not be as good of a pass catching rb as Kamara, but he is pretty darn good.
