I'm already nervous about the UF game this year. It puts my stomach into knots every season, but this year? Oof. Unless the offensive line doesn't improve at all, there is just no reason they should win in 2015 (other than the fact that they own us, of course).

I can't even imagine the disappointment if we roll into Gainesville with such a loaded team and lose to a patchwork UF squad with a first-year head coach.

My hope is that Kentucky knocks them off in Lexington the week before and they're still shell shocked by the time we play them.

Thanks man. I've avoided thinking about that game up until now. Now my ulcers are acting up again.

We had such a good thing going and then you had to go and ruin it!

Nowhere near as bad as what Jones walked into.

Agree to some extent but if he misses on Ivey, Cowart, and CeCe Jefferson, and in the article linked above getting at least one or two of the three is what their recruiting analyst is relying on to bump them into 21-25th ranked class, they will finish with an epically bad class. And a 75ish to 100th ranked class will indeed set them back several years.

One other thing about Muschamp is that he wasn't very good at recruiting the offensive side of the ball. Their are holes there despite some of the highly ranked classes he pulled. If McElwain can't put something together quickly then UF is in trouble and their rebuild will be set back before it starts. And with Muschamp recruiting those three targets to Auburn now as well as other schools recruiting them I'm not sure UF won't miss on all three.

McElwain is going to have a rebuild on his hands as daunting as Jones, perhaps even worse.

Which means if Butch doesn't put a beat down on the Gators for the foreseeable future he's not cut out for the SEC.

My better judgment right now tells me to put the 2015 Florida game in the toss-up bucket, with a Vols lean. But I'm starting to think we will go down there and totally smoke them. Streaks like they have against us often don't end in a close games. They end in blowouts. I'm starting to think it's finally our time. Can't wait for the fall!

I think the fact that it is in Gainesville works in our favor.

The last two times we were "supposed" to beat UF was at home and our players choked.

They won't have that kind of pressure in the Swamp.

Let's be real guys and gals, none of us have enough information to develop an education opinion on what's best for this football team. Avoid adopting a candidate as "your guy" because it's not gonna happen.

That just makes to much sense.. 😊

Nothing has changed in terms of Mike DeBord being the Vols' frontrunner. DeBord spent the entire weekend on Rocky Top and logged extensive time with players and staff, most notably returning starting quarterback Joshua Dobbs. DeBord also is mulling an NFL offer, which multiple sources told us is with the Atlanta Falcons and could unfold by midweek.

We made too much of a deal of it, and I think it might of got in their heads. (the checkered stadium, and the other time, I think ESPN/Corso was there)
