And now the top US special envoy to region, James Jeffrey, has this to say on US troops in Syria:

Russian Military Hails Syria’s Successful Intercepts Of 22 Of 24 Missiles In Latest Israeli Attack | ZeroHedge

Following Thursday’s night’s largescale airstrikes by Israeli fighter jets on areas in and around Damascus and in Homs province, Russia’s military leadership in Syria told international news agencies that six total Israeli jets conducted the aggression using Lebanon’s airspace.

Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit, head of the Russian military’s Reconciliation Center in Syria, further detailed that Syrian anti-air defenses successfully shot down a total of 22 out of 24 of the inbound missiles launched by the Israeli warplanes.

Further the Syrian government highlighted that Israeli attacks serve to "raise the morale of terrorists, militants and criminals" as well as to support ongoing illegal occupations in the northeast and along the Syria-Turkey border by "the US army… and the Erdogan regime forces and their terrorist tools."

Yep, our country has bumps and bruises, and is far from perfect. Its still by far the best damm place on Earth and there isnt a close second now that Western Europe turned into the sheit soup that is the EU.....just off the top of my head, why we are no1???

1. Least population density, most fruitful land any country on Earth

2. Most individual RIGHTS and Freedoms on Earth...WRT. land ownership, guns, privacy, cars/bikes/trucks, religion, trademarks and patents, you name it....we got it.

3. Most upward mobility on Earth from poor to rich. "Poor" people here on the gov teat still have home, AC, free phone/web, food, public transportation, even free childcare and free TV with a free antenna gets 30ish channels....all for free***

4. We can, and will kick the sheit out of any other country on earth when needed, have strongest military force ever in existence and a nuclear arsenal far exceeding minimal deterrent of M.A.D......

5. High end technology always here first. Computers, robotics, medical, space program, you name it . We design and build it...china etc steals it and copies it.

6. Best music by far on earth...isnt close. Again, we set the trends 99% of the time in all the arts just same as we do with tech. Everyone else copies what we do.

7. We dominate in athletics. See every Olympic games last 100 years or so. We even have a top 20 world cup soccer team in the sport the whole world ADORES that we dont even care about. If all those WR, DBs, RBs etc that play in the NFL instead played soccer every day for life like these poor bastards in europe etc??? We would never lose a match. Ever. Be able to field an entire starting 11 players with 11 backups and EVERY SINGLE MAN run a 40yd dash in 4.4. Seconds or less....every.single.player. the best teams in the WC every 4 years might have 2 or 3 guys that quick...if their names are Argentina or Brazil....we dominate in every single sport that we give a damm about ...


Thats just top of head. Theres 10x that many ways the US is beyond reproach from these little pizzant countries. We are peerless. Let them hate us. Jealousy is a cruel mistress.

*** nothing is free. Except Gods love that is...He paid the price for our sins. The free* home, food, web, phone etc is all paid for by hardworking taxpayers that make up about 40% of the population such as me and all my able bodied family members. The other 60% are primarily lazy, sorry azzed folks with no self respect that will not get up and earn their keep every day. This is commonly referred to for the earners as "makers" and the deadbeats are "takers"....even still, best country on Earth

US Air Force F-15 Shoots Down Iranian Drone over Syria that posed a threat to 900 US Troops stationed there

A US Air Force F-15 fighter jet shot down a drone said to have come from Iran after it was deemed a threat to troops stationed in eastern Syria Saturday.

'Coalition aircraft successfully engaged and defeated a UAS through air to air engagement in the vicinity of Mission Support Site Green Village,' US Army Colonel Wayne Marotto, who heads the US-led coalition against ISIS, told Reuters, using an acronym for an unmanned aircraft system.

Fox News reporter Lucas Tomlinson said an F-15E shot the 'Iranian' drone, which flew 'too close' to the 900 US troops in the area, according to a tweet citing US officials.

First off....you sure went to the extreme to not answer the question you replied to. What you said has no bearing on why we are there...or did I miss that?

Which brings me to my next point. Throughout your whole pom-pom shaking, go USA rant...what you fail to mention and realize is that we’ve yet to see the results of our foreign policy mantra of “democracy building” succeed....to the contrary actually. And why is that?! Because we aren’t there to build democratic states....for the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria...we are there to plunder resources. We are there because our military is an extension of Israel’s effort to dominate the ME. We are there NOT to serve the interests of the people of the Middle East nor the United States...yet, the corrupt globalist that now are bringing once high western world standards...down to second world and eventually third world levels.

It’s really sad that even today, people are still swallowing the propaganda. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this once great country is on the decline...rotting from within. We should be focusing on our own problems...which are multiplying daily...instead of warmongering for globalists/other country’s interests.

At a moment there's still war-footing rhetoric going on between the US and Russia over Ukraine (or rather, with most of it coming from the White House), late Tuesday there was a close-call incident between Russian and American fighter jets over Syria.

CNN revealed based on defense officials that US planes warned off Russian fighters when they flew near US bases in Syria. According to the report, "US fighter jets and other coalition aircraft escorted three Russian aircraft in eastern Syria on Tuesday when the Russians flew into coalition-restricted airspace, according to two US officials with direct knowledge of the incident."

I didn't say Syria was about oil. I only stated that we are still there occupying oil fields.

Syria is strategically important for (at least) 3 reasons. A pipeline route to Europe, disrupting Russian naval access in Tartus, and future Israeli expansion in to southern Syria/Lebanon and Golan Heights.
