If you ever feel like freaking out about a football team, even God's Chosen Team, the Tennessee Volunteers ... or about a favorite musician, actor, or anything else in the wide world of entertainment, it's time to run through the Two Steps:
1. Context: there are far more important things to freak out about in life. Family, health, relationships, understanding, financial hardship, destructive or harmful habits that need breaking, paths to goals, goals not met, reassessing, ........
2. Release: slough off any mistaken sense of control or responsibility: not our job to ensure the team is ready, can leave that to the professionals, CJP and his crew, our only responsibility is to love the program, love the players and the university and the team, and wish them the best. We got that covered.
With our beloved Vols kept in proper context within our lives, and the weight of any responsibility beyond fandom removed from our shoulders, this is an easy question to answer.
0.
No concern at all, CJP and crew are working it, they're gonna do their best. Our job is to stay positive, stay supportive. Keep Calm and Carry On (thank you, Brits).
Go Vols!
