Never stated you did.

One poster said Knoxville has a high crime rate.

You responded with "No it doesn't".

Knoxville has a very high crime rate. Off all the cities in the great US of A, Knoxville is only safer than 2% of them.

And yet it's ranked #100/100....

It's in Nancy Pelosi's district if I am not mistaken. That means it is a socialist utopia. I lay over in San Fran quite a bit, and the homeless and taxes there are huge. Funny how that is....

Have you seen the homeless near UT? Those people under the bridge aren't camping for fun.

San Fran isn't Berkeley. It's close yet, but still not the exact same. Yes San Fran did have a lot of homeless and honestly it wasn't as great as I had heard.

#100 doesnt exactly scare me. Knoxville is in last place!!!!!!!!!!! Stop acting like its Memphis!!!!!!!

I'm not trying to scare you or compare Knoxville to Memphis.

Just passing along some facts on the high crime rate in K-town.

there's a reason about 20% of the country lives in california....despite all of its problems.

Yup. The weather is awesome. It has enough variety for a lot of people...

That doesn't change the fact that politically it is as ****ed up as Hogan's goat.

oh, i agree.

but, all i can think of is how nice it must be that the 35% of the state that is red has decided to go ahead and stay there.

If I could afford it, I'd definitely move there. The weather trumps so much. Even the politics wouldn't keep me out, even though I'd disagree with so much.

Having said that, the first earthquake would probably have me running back East.
