Dont get me wrong, I love watching future VFLs in these games but the possibility of injuries always stresses me out. How hard do they actually go in the games. Is it closer to the nfl pro bowl or a college senior bowl type game experience. I would hate to lose someone in a meaningless game.

Anybody else having trouble finding the Semper Fidelis game on Directv? or Offense-Defense game on Directv?

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Rivals.com was on hand as preparations began on Sunday for the Under Armour All-America Game. Here's a look at the top performers from Team Highlight as determined by our analysts.

TEAM HIGHLIGHT TOP PERFORMERS
1. Myles Garrett, WDE, Arlington (Texas) Martin
During the team period Garrett was the top pass rusher. The five-star defender got the best of Alabama commit Cameron Robinson in 11-on-11 with a nice rip move and speed rush. His first step get-off gave opposing tackles nightmares. He was great as well setting the edge and reading his keys on zone read plays.

2. Adoree' Jackson, DB, Gardena (Calif.) Serra
If Garrett didn't dominate the afternoon portion of practice, Jackson would have made the top spot. The Rivals100 presented by Under Armour standout was like Velcro in one-on-ones, recording three pass break-ups and lockdown coverage. Jackson's top play was on a punt return when he snagged a booming punt with one hand drawing cheers from teammates and the crowd.

3. Speedy Noil, ATH, New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr
Noil lived up to his moniker by providing big plays with his speed and quickness. He gets in and out of his breaks without any wasted motion. In team install he plucked two touchdown passes over the top of the defense. His superb quickness allows him to consistently get clean releases off the line of scrimmage.

4. Travis Rudolph, WR, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman
It was only the first day, but Rudolph looks like the most polished receiver in this year's all-star affair. The 6-foot, 189-pounder caught everything in his catch radius while creating separation. Rudolph runs precision routes and was always open. Rudolph has superb technique and understands how to play with leverage. He had a nice touchdown grab in the half skeleton period.

5. Rashaan Evans, OLB, Auburn (Ala.)
Evans looked good in drills, but was great in skelly and team. The thing that stood out the most was his ability to diagnose plays and fill the proper lane when tracking the ball carrier. In coverage he took the right drops and kept everything in front of him. We didn't get a chance to see his superb pass rush skills, but he didn't disappoint on the areas of his game.

6. Tanner Farmer, OG, Highland (Ill.)
The Nebraska pledge won almost all of his reps in one-on-ones. Farmer stoned FSU recruit Dexter Wideman on a few plays with excellent hand placement and good leverage. He impressed us with his ability to anchor down from his guard spot and register a couple of pancake blocks.

7. Casey Tucker , OT, Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton
Tucker was outstanding in one-on-ones, finishing just behind Farmer for Team Highlight. The Stanford and Arizona State target packs a great punch to go with nimble feet. He was able to keep Gerald Willis III at bay on an outside pass rush move. Against O.J. Smith he was able to sit and anchor on his bull rush without getting pushed back.

8. Michael O'Connor, QB, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
O'Connor had the best day of all the signal callers. He made a variety of throws in the passing tree, but he was at his best making good decisions. The Penn State commit didn't force the ball downfield and hit his check downs to keep the chains moving. He has a good over-the-top delivery to go with sound mechanics.

9. Racean Thomas, RB, Oxford (Ala.)
Thomas looks fully recovered from an ankle injury that has limited him during the postseason. His burst and acceleration is above average. He is patient hitting the hole and he can turn a small crease into a big play. In team period he had a few big runs with his jump cuts and vision.

10. Jalen Tabor, DB, Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy
Tabor was one of the most physical defensive backs among a loaded group. The five-star corner had the hit of the day on Noil. Noil came across Tabor's face on a slant route and the Friendship Collegiate Academy delivered a huge hit that knocked off Noil's helmet. His striking ability in press coverage rarely allows receivers to get off the line of scrimmage.

11. Chris Godwin, WR, Middletown (Del.)
The Nittany Lions pledge has soft hands and he is a reliable target. Godwin has deceptive speed and runs good routes. He isn't overly sudden, but he flashes lateral cutting ability to get yards after the catch. O'Connor targeted Godwin often in team and half skeleton.

Offense-Defense game? Is there a Punt team-Kickoff Return Team Game too? Who named that one?

One would think Nike and/or the other two military branches would want to get in on the action and have their own all star games.

Just watched the Shrine Bowl replay on ESPNU.

Kinlaw looks awful. Cant make a play, and has a hard time blocking without getting tossed around. Didnt play much

Chris Register looks like the real deal.

Jalan McClendon looks better than advertised. Seems very accurate and has good mobility. I would be very happy if we flipped him. Throws the ball with a nice tight spiral and good speed. Hits his receivers in stride. Most of the incompletions, he hit the receivers right in the hands. Looked better than UGA commit Jacob Park

Moseley is fast. He also looks like he plays bigger physically than his weight.

Elijah Hood has everything needed to be a great D1 back. Good combo of speed, power and elusiveness

Didnt really notice Scott or Poona Ford much

Is there a chance of this? I thought he said he was done.
