Next year will be TNs welcome back party. TN gets major pub by beating NC State soundly on national tv, then makes their first appearance back in the AP top 25 after beating UF to go 4-0. Tn ends the season ranked in the top 15 with at least 9 wins.

That looks...very favorable actually. Arkansas replaced with Mississippi State? It also looks like a 6-2 format in terms of East-West scheduling.

At a very minimum, Tennessee should be able to win 3 conference games.

After this season's schedule, this one looks a lot better. Definitely more favorable match-ups. I hope we welcome Missouri to Neyland Stadium and the SEC then let them go home with a loss.

5 wins in the bag - (Georgia State, Akron, Troy, Vanderbilt, Kentucky)
1 good chance of win - (Mississippi State)
4 toss-ups - (Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, NC State)
1 decent chance of loss - (Florida)
1 sure fire loss - (Alabama)

5-7 if everything goes to hell
11-1 if every bounce goes our way
8-4 to 9-3 is most likely

Yep, I'm thinking 8 wins isn't even enough to satisfy me, to be honest. 9 or 10 and I'd be good.

This. We'll know after next season what kind of coach Dooley is. No excuses. Youth can't be used. Injuries happen to every team. Schedule is better. Time to get it done. If not, I trust Hart to make the right decision.

I dunno about Florida man. I really think they could be hurting on offense next season. Then again, I don't really know who they have behind Rainey, Demps, and Brantley. We'll need a resident Gator fan to enlighten us on their situation.

Same. But Florida was a dumpster fire on offense the last two months even with Rainey/Demps at their disposal. Imagine them without those two...

Our defense will have to really grow up for us to beat FL. We have gotten abused by their speed over the last few years.

Yeah, fair point. Until UT does, it's reasonable to mark it down as a Loss. I think that game could be pivotal for the season as a whole.
