The "burp" is different from the "burpee", at least where I work out. The burp doesn't involve raising up. Basically, a squat thrust and chest to deck push up combo.

Oh. I'll have to google it. I've never heard of it. I just assumed burpee.

And no Tex. I haven't don't one yet. I've only been crossfitting a few months. Wasn't around for that one.

You should give it a try one day. It's a good benchmark WOD, IMO.

I will. A friend just did it Monday and we were talking about it. With Andrea doing my programming I only have so many days I can do my own stuff. I was planning on this one Thursdy. It's the London Qualifier

75 thrusters 55lbs
75 burpees over bar
75 pullups

I hated crossfitters coming into my normal gym. Lol This one guy was doing Turkish get ups in the squat rack and I almost lost my ****.

I still hate ppl crossfitting in normal gyms. At least the ones who did it in mine.

To me, the whole purpose behind cross fit is that I don't need a gym. I don't use weights and can workout wherever I please.

I have a lot of my own stuff. Hubs is supposed to be clearing out half of his shop for me. I have bars, bumpers, rings and a pullup bar. I need a kettlebell and med ball.

I do like the support at the box though. Definitely pushes me to get a better time. I won't have that when we move though. I may get my cert and start my own place. I'm a certified trainer but not crossfit obvs.

Yea. I'm getting attached to mine. We've adopted a family for Christmas and had a paleo Thanksgiving get together. I'll be a good 40-45 mins from it when we move but I may have to make the drive.

Oh damn!! Don't think I'd do that. I won't even drive 40 miles to see my gf unless.......well, you know! Lulz
