I haven't watched but a few minutes of the trial. IF the judge is screwing up as bad as some of you are saving, any conviction would be overturned when appealed.
The incident yesterday where she wouldn't let his lawyers answer for him or for him to get advice from his lawyers was beyond crazy. I've never witnessed anything like that before
You have to understand something.
When a judge rules, you shut up. You might voice disagreement to protect the record, but you do not keep making the same objection over and over. Even if you are DEAD CERTAIN she is wrong, that's the ruling, you move on. Appeal if you lose.
It is actually quite common for the judge and attorneys to get frustrated with one another. But the fact of that doesn't mean one or the other is doing a bad job. It is a high stress situation in a regular trial. This is just that much more difficult because of its notoriety.
If GZ is convicted of anything no one in FL will ever be safe from prosecution while defending their selves.
if the roles were reversed would TM be charged as a minor or an adult?
Fantastic. You should by no means be free to "defend" yourself in the way that George Zimmerman did.
Because that's a remotely sensible question to ask. Martin absolutely would be tried as an adult if he were to have killed Zimmerman while playing neighborhood watch. As a victim, he's a minor because he's under the age of 18. This shouldn't be too hard to grasp.
I read a few days ago that Zimmerman could be convicted of lesser charges per Florida law. IIRC the jury could find him of guilty of any lesser charge. Is that correct?
