Zimmerman Trial

I haven't watched but a few minutes of the trial. IF the judge is screwing up as bad as some of you are saving, any conviction would be overturned when appealed.

He would still face years in prison until any appeal is decided.

The incident yesterday where she wouldn't let his lawyers answer for him or for him to get advice from his lawyers was beyond crazy. I've never witnessed anything like that before

This entire dog and pony show is just another ploy by Obama to create a racially divided nation.

The fix is in.

I just turned the TV onto CNN. Ashley Banfield just showed that exchange and the judge walking off while defense attorney was still pleading. Very Bizarre. If she has conducted the entire trial like that, I understand the outrage.

Obama?

Or the democratic party?

The are all about your rights...

Less you are white or legal Mexican...

What boggles me is this guy is half Jewish ... not white.

Wouldn't be surprised if there were influences beyond the state of Florida affecting the trial. The judge seems incompetent but can't be as bad as she has blatantly been.

Yep. The Florida Judicial System and the Republican Governor and the Republican controlled House and Senate are all bowing to Obamas' will. He is their hero.

You have to understand something.

When a judge rules, you shut up. You might voice disagreement to protect the record, but you do not keep making the same objection over and over. Even if you are DEAD CERTAIN she is wrong, that's the ruling, you move on. Appeal if you lose.

It is actually quite common for the judge and attorneys to get frustrated with one another. But the fact of that doesn't mean one or the other is doing a bad job. It is a high stress situation in a regular trial. This is just that much more difficult because of its notoriety.

Agreed. If West is worried about bias, he's not doing anything to help sway her to his POV by harping on her rulings.

If GZ is convicted of anything no one in FL will ever be safe from prosecution while defending their selves.

Fantastic. You should by no means be free to "defend" yourself in the way that George Zimmerman did.

if the roles were reversed would TM be charged as a minor or an adult?

Because that's a remotely sensible question to ask. Martin absolutely would be tried as an adult if he were to have killed Zimmerman while playing neighborhood watch. As a victim, he's a minor because he's under the age of 18. This shouldn't be too hard to grasp.

You're in the same category as Keith. Both morons. I went for retard but went with a lesser fact easier to prove.

I read a few days ago that Zimmerman could be convicted of lesser charges per Florida law. IIRC the jury could find him of guilty of any lesser charge. Is that correct?

Arguments this morning included the list of charges which the jury will consider. I think that there are four. The prosecution tried to add child abuse in one of the charges. They also worked through the wording of jury instructions.
