Zimmerman Trial

She isn't screwing over anyone. The jury decides GZ's fate, not the judge. The jury will decide if they think manslaughter is appropriate. Are they not the the ultimate rulers of GZ's guilt or innocence?

They are the deciders, but they make their decisions based on the legal instructions that the judge allows. She didn't allow the instruction that following somebody isn't illegal. Clearly trying to skew the decision of the jury towards the notion that following may be illegal thus Zimmerman was deserving of being attacked.

How is she not screwing him over?

The jury's been sequestered. They're only getting the information the judge is letting through. She's intentionally blocking relevant evidence that is damaging to the state's case. Have you been paying attention at all?

Regardless, both you and I and anyone who has been paying attention (Yes, I've been paying close attention) knows that the prosecution has presented a weak weak case and their own witnesses helped the defense more than they helped them. 2nd Murder and manslaughter have not and will not be proven as a worthy charge and hopefully the jury sees that as well.

Let me get this straight, you're telling me that unless the judge specifically advised this jury that following someone is not illegal that said jury of 6 believe that simply following someone for any reason is against the law?

Based on what the prosecution has been allowed to present? Yes.

The defense has no right to defend against any I dividual statute relating to the case ...

Think of it as a "grand jury" in Tennessee.

Seriously. Think about that.

These 6 jurors are so obtuse that you're telling me that they may think that simply following someone could get them arrested and throw in jail?

at least 1 poster in this thread said the following of TM constituted assault. It's not impossible

Uh, you'd be surprised by how stupid some people are. As far as I know they don't screen for legal knowledge and IQ when selecting a jury. You have to assume that the jury knows absolutely nothing coming in.

The state of Florida voted for Obama! What do you think?

Yes........remember, these people are those who were not smart enough to figure a way out of jury duty

i found this funny from twitter:

BREAKING: Prosecution moves to add charge of "felony following" and "misdemeanor truck-leaving" #ZimmermanTrial

At least both sides get to select from a pool although in Florida with this judge who knows.
