It hasn't been getting nearly enough attention, but one of the neighbors yesterday testified she saw the two fighting, and it looked to her that Zimmerman had the upper hand. She then claims she heard three shots fired. In her words, she heard "pop, pop, pop."
The problem? There was only one shot fired.
No... actually I don't, which is why I asked the question?
Is it even intentional? Perhaps.
But if so... why? What do they possibly have to gain by using an outdated picture of TM?
Whatever the thought process behind it, it affected the testimony of an earlier witness. She claimed she saw Zimmerman on top of Martin. When pressed as to how she knew which was which, so said she'd seen photos of both and Martin appeared to be really small.
Thing is, if we are talking about the same witness, she based that on media photos of him when he was 10 yrs old, not 17. She also thought that the guy who was on top and got up and walked around after the shot was wearing black, and the guy on the bottom and who was shot was wearing red.
TM was wearing black, GZ was wearing red.
Common for public schools, cursive isn't taught anymore.
When did that happen...or are you just making that up?
Whoa... The prosecution just questioned a witness about Zimmerman's past. Doesn't that open the door for the defense to introduce evidence about Martin's past?
And here is the first of probably many
What White People Don't Understand About Rachel Jeantel By Rachel Samara | Global Grind
I gotta read this when I get home. I just bet it is full of fail.
White people aren't the only ones that will need a translation/understanding. Black people like myself are gonna need to be brought in the loop also.

Author's premise is wrong. She feels defense trying to discredit her by a saying she's stupid. Thing is, intelligence DOES matter for a witness because it goes to how well they perceive what is going on.
It also plays a role in how they might be manipulated by people involved in the case who have an agenda. What little I saw of her that seemed to me to be the line of attack.
So, I agree that most of us cannot relate to the life of a Haitian girl growing up in Miami, who is suddenly thrust into a major controversy through no fault of her own. But that doesn't in turn mean that her ability to accurately perceive, or relate what she perceives, is not the subject of fair debate and criticism.
