Then they’d have to give credit to Mullen for building that dump of a program into something respectable.

Seems it’ll be a catch 22 for the “Mullen sucks, and he’s a nerd” crowd.

Florida is so much more talented than UT....it’s not even close. Mullen inherited a good roster. He hasn’t really done sh•t. He’s just lucky he has that talent that McElwain left him. He was mediocre at State, too.

Yeah, thats what we are gonna hear. Its not going to be that AU is a much better team. Its oh, Starkville is a recruiting mecca. Good grief.

Really can’t believe I just read 8 pages of this sh!t.
Mullen has done a nice job with what he has. He will not be an elite coach as he proved that at State.
JP has not done a great job with what he has. The next 2-3 years will determine if he can be a great coach. Not the last 5 weeks or the 5 years before that.
Question for all you guru types. Why do great coaches eventually get fired if they’re so great?

Nick Saban, Gary Patterson, Chris Petersen, Bill Snyder, kirby Smart, Chip Kelly, David Shaw, Dabo Swinney, Urban Meyer, Mark Dantonio. Which one of those guys have been fired?

If we beat Auburn all well be forgiven for a minute. We get blasted by OP bama. Then we try to win out. 8-4 would be heaven. Kinda like a Nathan's hotdog with ketchup dumped on it after not eating breakfast or lunch.

Are you watching Stanford v Utah? Stanford has a great coaching staff and much more talent. So, whats the reason for their struggles? Is it that the coaching is bad? Or, is it the players failing to execute? I will hang up and listen.

Not watching...will be soon. I e always liked utahs coach. They.always have a hard fighting team, much like Miss.St. Wish we.had that.

Never said any of those great coaches were fired...did I?
But in history great coaches have been fired. I include Phil in that group.
It’s because some admin or booster type concludes the game has passed them by. They need a new “it” factor. There has to be something better on the horizon.
In most cases it’s simply not true.

Are some of these posters, singing the praises of a proven Head Coach at Florida, some of the same ones that thought Tennessee was so much better a team than Florida a couple a weeks ago?

we-could-not-have-f'd that coaching search up more than we did. I actually liked Mullen.

by the time we got a normal person in as AD, we were blacklisted.

I still say Botch set us back 5 years. Better have faith in Pruitt, i do. He's our option.
