Yeah, they would need quite a bit of help. They pretty much need Miami, Utah, and BYU all to lose this weekend. (Potentially also either something like an LSU upset of OU or Alabama losing to Auburn for good measure.)

Only way that happens is if UT beats Vanderbilt and all 5 of the higher ranked SEC teams make the playoffs.

And even then, along with OSU beating Michigan, you might also still need USC to lose to UCLA as well, or else you're likely getting USC as the Big 10 team in the Citrus Bowl.

Truthfully, we have no business being in the CFP. We aren't 1 of the 12 best teams. We've had 3 chances to get ready good win and found ways not to win any of them. I'd love to see it, but we would be on the road vs a superior team. We would get blown out even if we did make it. We just aren't a good team.

I'd honestly be shocked if we went in the 1st round. Having not played this year, I see him more in the mid to late 2nd Rd.JMO

Every mock draft I’ve seen has him going first round. I get obviously things can change between now and April. But as long as he interviews well and has good individual workouts, I think he’s a round one 🔐 the only corner who could go ahead of him is the LSU kid Delane.

It you look at the team rankings, the Vols are recruiting on par with the elites. Would love to see us add a stud LB, a DL and two CB's. If we can do that we'll be top 10 in 2026.
